Today’s Reading:
Ezekiel 47
John 7
Luke 4

Then the shining man brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and I saw water flowing from underneath the temple threshold. It was flowing eastward (for the temple faced east). Water was trickling out from the south side of the temple, south of the altar. Then he took me out by the north gate and led me around the outside to the gate that faces east. And there I saw water flowing out on the right-hand side, south of the gateway. The man holding his measuring line walked east and measured off a thousand cubits. Then he made me wade across the shallow water, and it was ankle deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and told me to wade across the stream again; the water was up to my knees. He measured off another thousand cubits and made me wade across the stream again, and the water was up to my waist. He measured off another thousand; it was now a river over my head, which I was unable to swim across. It was a deep swollen river—a river no one could cross.
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭47‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Multiplied grace is upon you. I’m calling you out beyond the water’s edge. It’s time to walk into the river of My power flow. I’m calling you to wade into, to step into the ankle deep waters. Here you can perceive the force and power of the flow of My Spirit surge. But you are not yet moved by it, not yet caught up in it. My grace, My multiplied grace will draw you out farther into the very midst of the rushing water where the power of My Spirit surge is flowing mightily and where you can no longer touch the bottom. Though your feet can no longer touch, your anchor to Christ Jesus will hold.

Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” Jesus was prophesying about the Holy Spirit that believers were being prepared to receive. But the Holy Spirit had not yet been poured out upon them, because Jesus had not yet been unveiled in his full splendor.
‭‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Draw near to Me. This is the time of a great Spirit surge. As you wade out into the place where My Spirit is flowing, where My glory is dwelling, you will be invited in to experience a strong blast, a great measure of My Spirit surge. And that Spirit surge — your being fully immerse and overrun by My Spirit surge — will impart a particular blessing of power, My power into your life, body and hands. It will supercharge your words, and it will cause the fear of the Lord to rest heavily upon your heart, mind and shoulders. The surge of My Spirit is not all celebration and dancing. My Spirit surge will empower My saints to walk in the power that has been missing from the body, from the bride, from the five-fold ministry. And that power will be imparted along with a weighty reverence, awe and fear of the Lord. It will cause these lovers of Mine, these ministers of Mine who have been faithful to walk out into the glory, into the Spirit surge —it will cause them to walk in a new place of working out their salvation with fear and trembling. The humility and reverence and deep awe of Me will accompany the exponential explosion of My power. They are tied together. They are one.

From the moment of his baptism, Jesus overflowed with the Holy Spirit. He was taken by the Spirit from the Jordan into the wilderness of Judea to experience for forty days the ordeal of testing by the accuser. He ate no food during this time and ended his forty-day fast very hungry. Then Jesus, armed with the Holy Spirit’s power, returned to Galilee, and his fame spread throughout the region.
‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭2‬, ‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

As I call you to wade out into the Spirit flow to My power surge, know that it will cleanse you, it will empty you, it will power wash you, and you may wonder if you have anything left. It will require everything from you. But then you will walk out of this place in the power of the Spirit surrounded and encompassed with a great weighty fear of the Lord. Your words will be as hot as fire. You will begin to understand the dichotomy of Jesus — how He walked in tremendous controlled power and exceptional compassion and gentleness. This is an impartation of favor from the Lord. This is the way and the heart and the very essence of the Lord. Walk with understanding. This is your moment of informed consent. As you obey My voice to wade out into the water of My powerful Spirit surge, it will require and cost you everything.

How to Respond

  • Trust and obey the Lord. Don’t hesitate to move forward, and don’t look back.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit strengthen me. Help me to be obedient to the voice and invitation of the Lord to be overcome by Your glory and Your Spirit surge. I can’t fully understand what it means, but I surrender my whole self to Your power washing — even as it will fully empty me and require everything. I am all yours. Have Your way Lord.
  • Declare, God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places. — Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Declare, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, an to preach to prisoners, You are set free! I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun. — Luke 4:18-19
  • Decree, This is a holy moment and invitation from the Lord. I will wade into the waters of His glory and Spirit surge. I will not remain on the banks. I will not remain in the ankle deep waters of it. I will swim out into the middle of the surge and allow His Spirit to power wash me and remove all impurities from me. I will be empowered by His Spirit, and I will walk out my salvation enveloped by the weighty fear of the Lord, with reverence, awe and passion.
