Genesis 27:28-29 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
The sunlight on my favor is on your life. Let My love lift you, carry you, cause you to rise above the noise, the rancor and even the war scene. The battle is intense, but My love is greater. My love is stronger. My love is surer. Let My love lift you. Look up and see that the sunlight of My favor is shining upon you. Arise and shine. You are the light of the world. You are the ones who must shine and defeat darkness with the reflection of My great light and the release of My great light from within you.
”And Yahweh stood beside him and said to him, “I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. You are lying on the very ground that I will give to you and your descendants. They will become as numerous as the specks of dust on the earth, and they will extend their territory in all directions. Through you and your descendants, I will bless the whole world. Never forget—I am always with you and will protect you wherever you go. And one day I will bring you back to this land, for I will neither leave you nor fail to fulfill every word I have promised you.”

You did not choose me, but I have chosen you. I called you by name and then you responded. Your yes became your vow. Your yes set you into covenantal agreement with Me, with My heart, with righteousness, love and truth. Mine is a covenant of purity marked by grace. Don’t forget the thick covering of My grace in your life. Don’t forget how My grace has covered you, has rinsed you and has laid out a path before you. Even as you walk that path, recognize My grace and the sunlight of My favor on your life and in your life. Walk forward with a great confidence and recognition that I Am with you, I have gone before you, and I cover and surround you even as I uphold you with My righteous right hand. Fear not, for I Am with you. I Am right here with you even as I call you and urge you onward to forge a path in darkness. My grace and My light have carved out the path in front of you. Now it is yours and yours alone to walk in this path of My grace and favor to bring light to the darkness, to bring peace into the storm, to bring stillness and joy through songs of praise, of love, of worship of rejoicing and of overcoming victory into the war itself.
”Then Yahweh said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your ancestors where you were born; and remember, I will be with you.” So Jacob sent a message for Leah and Rachel to meet him in the field where his flocks were grazing. When they arrived, he said to them, “I can see that your father’s attitude toward me has changed, but the God of my father has been with me. You both know I have worked for your father as hard as I could, although he has cheated me and reduced my wages over and over. Yet God has not allowed him to harm me. If he said, ‘The speckled ones will be your wages,’ then all the flock bore speckled. If he said, ‘The striped ones will be your wages,’ then all the flock bore striped. Because of these miracles, God has taken away your father’s livestock and given them to me!”“
Genesis 31:3-9 TPT
Yours is the birthright of an overcomer. You are in the line of Jacob, and like Jacob you will usurp the plans and powers of darkness. I have given you a greater way. I have given you a strategy to profit and grow and prosper even in a time marked by bondage and difficulty. Even in a time marked by hostility and oppression, I have given you the tools and the strategy to prosper. Stay humble. Stay close to Me. Continue to let the sunlight of My favor warm you even as it joins My grace to guide you. I have given you everything you need for success even in the storm, even in the war. Walk with Me.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord and walk with Him. Recognize His favor and grace in your life, and let them guide you forward.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You for the sunlight of Your favor on my life. Thank You for Your great grace that has covered me, rinsed me and carves out a path in front of me. Help me to stay in the narrow way, lit by Your favor and carved by Your grace. Help me to see and understand the strategies You have given me to prosper even in this storm and war season.
- Declare, the Lord has made a way for His lovers to prosper in adversity, oppression and darkness. We are the head and not the tail. We have the birthright of an overcomer.
- Decree, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He carves out a path for me even in and through the darkness. I will look up and see His favor shining on my life and lighting the path carved out by His grace. I will use the strategies He has given and continues to reveal to me, so I can prosper amidst the uncertainty, oppression and warring. I will rise up as one who usurps the darkness with the strategies of the Lord.
