Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 62

62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet,
until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
and her salvation as a burning torch.
2 The nations shall see your righteousness,
and all the kings your glory,
and you shall be called by a new name
that the mouth of the Lord will give.
3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken,
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,
but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her,
and your land Married;
for the Lord delights in you,
and your land shall be married.

Isaiah 62:1-4

The Lord says,
This is a time of resurrection. I’m resurrecting hearts and hopes and minds from the grave. I Am resurrecting and breathing new life on much that has been treated as dead. I Am stirring over them, brooding over them even now. They are starting to feel the pin pricks of being awakened to life. Memories of sensations are becoming the sensations themselves again. Soon whole, resurrected people will sit before Me. This is a resurrection that creates wholeness.

12 And they shall be called The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
and you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken.

Isaiah 62:12

This is a resurrection that re-creates and imparts new life. It’s a resurrection that goes down into the broken places, the vacant places, the hidden dark places and restores with the breath of life. This is not a resurrection that wakes up the broken, still half-dead ones. This a resurrection that transforms those broken, not living ones into whole, restored, vibrant ones who walk in confidence, purity and abundant life filled with joy.

This is a resurrection that makes men and women whole and new. It does not wake them in their brokenness and allow them to walk around, still broken and battered. No, this is a different time. This is a time of total and complete healing, transformation and the impartation of My Spirit that carries radiant new life.

11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed
to the end of the earth:
Say to the daughter of Zion,
“Behold, your salvation comes;
behold, his reward is with him,
and his recompense before him.”

Isaiah 62:11

These transformed ones will walk in abundance, in prosperity, in My grace and filled with My wisdom. These transformed ones will be commissioned as builders who build simple new structures atop the ancient foundations. They will download their blueprints from Me, and they will be beautiful, austere and worthy. They will be trustworthy, secure; and they will last. The builders, the transformed ones, will build structures that endure.

6 On your walls, O Jerusalem,
I have set watchmen;
all the day and all the night
they shall never be silent.
You who put the Lord in remembrance,
take no rest,
7 and give him no rest
until he establishes Jerusalem
and makes it a praise in the earth.

Isaiah 62:6-7

A great grace will be on their building, and it will not be subject to the rancor and division of which you are accustomed. Their rebuilding will be commissioned, desired and protected from divisiveness. It will be an experience more like Solomon’s building of My temple than Nehemiah’s rebuilding of the city walls. My great grace will be on the building, and the favor of the people will support it.

How to Respond

  • Desire to be among those who experience resurrection for themselves. Ask the Lord to breathe new life into your body, mind and spirit.
  • Daydream with the Lord about old hopes, ideas, dreams and plans. Ask Him to bring divine connections that can bring them to life.
  • Declare, the Lord is resurrecting hearts, minds, dreams and hopes in this season. He is transforming people and society with His resurrection power.
  • Decree, the Lord’s resurrection power will overcome the work of darkness and division. His breath of life is raising up builders who will reorder society, and He is causing the favor of the people to be with them.
