Today’s Readings:
Psalm 5
Isaiah 44-45
24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
Isaiah 44:24-26
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone,
25 Causing the omens of boasters to fail,
Making fools out of diviners,
Causing wise men to draw back
And turning their knowledge into foolishness,
26 Confirming the word of His servant
And performing the purpose of His messengers.
It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’
And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’
And I will raise up her ruins again.
The Lord says,
Resurrection. Sudden transformative victory — a victory so sudden and so unexpected that it shocks the world. A usurping and grasping back of what was stolen in a tremendously powerful, unpredicted move from the grave.
3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice;
Psalm 5:3-6
In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.
4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness;
No evil dwells with You.
5 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes;
You hate all who do iniquity.
6 You destroy those who speak falsehood;
The Lord abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
Power suits. You will see power suits, and the suits will have power. The suits will be about power, and the suits will change the hands of power. The suits will draw down, reduce and remove some power; and the suits will completely transfer other power. You will see very weighty, very consequential power suits come onto the scene. These power suits will capture the nations.
Justice will come to the right. Justice will come for what is right. The left and the wrong and the morally bankrupt will be weighed on the scales of justice and found wanting, found lighter than a feather, found to be empty, a mere shell and an open grave.
9 There is nothing reliable in what they say;
Psalm 5:9-10
Their inward part is destruction itself.
Their throat is an open grave;
They flatter with their tongue.
10 Hold them guilty, O God;
By their own devices let them fall!
In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out,
For they are rebellious against You.
The drumbeat of justice is picking up its cadence. And her partner, truth, is keeping and sometimes setting the pace. Sometimes justice sets the pace and sometimes truth sets the pace, but they are working closely in tandem and do not get out of sync. The drumbeat of justice and truth are paving the way back to ground zero. They are paving the way back to many Capital lies, and they will be laid bare in the broad unobstructed daylight.
2 “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth;
Isaiah 45:2-3
I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.
3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden wealth of secret places,
So that you may know that it is I,
The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
Justice will rise like a phoenix from the ashes, and freedom will rise like a great eagle in her wake. They will soar over the fury, over the silence, over the aftermath — the smoke, the crumbled, toppled institutions, the upheaval — and America Will Be Great Again.
How to Respond
- Humble yourself before the Lord.
- Pray, Lord thank You that You are the God of justice and mercy in perfect measure. Thank You for hearing our prayers, cries and petitions. Thank You for moving in resurrection power, in justice and in truth on behalf of the people. We pray that those who are on the side of wickedness would not miss their opportunity to repent and return to You. Bring us justice, truth and freedom Lord. Make America Great Again Lord, thank You.
- Declare, the Lord is moving in justice, truth and resurrection power. He is moving unexpectedly and undeniably to permanently alter power structures and the hands that hold power. The Lord is moving, and His justice will be done, truth will be revealed to all, and America will be great again.
- Decree, I stand firmly on the side of truth, justice and freedom. I will not back up and I will not be moved. I will work as the Lord instructs to do my part.
