““I, Yahweh, will respond to the cry of the poor and needy when they are thirsty and their tongues are parched with thirst! When they seek a drink of water but there is none, I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them. I will open up refreshing streams on the barren hills and springing fountains in the valleys. I will make the desert a pleasant pool and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the treeless desert cedars and acacias, myrtle and olive trees. I will set in the wilderness evergreens, together with many elms and cypresses. Everyone will see and know that I, Yahweh, with my mighty hands have done this. They will consider and comprehend that the Holy One of Israel has created it.””

The Spirit of the Living God says,
My love, My Spirit, My pleasure springs up from you like a wellspring of Living Water. So will the truth surge. As My Spirit leaps within you, gushes forth from you and waters those around you with refreshing, favor, healing and love, so will truth surge throughout the Earth. My Living Water, My Spirit will surge through you, and the truth will burst forth as great geysers from beneath the Earth’s surface. People will look on in wonder and see and say, where did this truth come from? How I did it appear? There was nothing here but a barren wasteland, and now there is a giant surge of truth that is transforming the landscape before our very eyes. What was once a wilderness is becoming a plain, a field, a glorious resting place. It’s becoming a habitation and a place in which to dwell. Many will want to set their tents up in this blooming former wasteland. Many will be attracted to the truth in what was once known only as desert land.
““Stop dwelling on the past. Don’t even remember these former things. I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert. Wild beasts, jackals, and owls will glorify me. For I supply streams of water in the desert and rivers in the wilderness to satisfy the thirst of my people, my chosen ones, so that you, whom I have shaped and formed for myself, will proclaim my praise.”

And you, oh you, My wellsprings of Living Water, those who carry and release the surges of My Spirit, you will be the desert guides. You will be like John the Baptists and Moseses and Abrahams. You will be like the ancient men and women of great faith who met with Me and knew Me intimately in the desert, in the wilderness. You have met with Me. You have communed with Me, and you have already had your own transformation in the desert. I have brought you out from the desert place of the soul into the place teeming with life, energy, vibrant hope and surges of power. You may not have yet seen or experienced these surges of My power coming from your very own body, coming from the Source within you. But you will. You will, and You will learn how to move with the power surges and the flow and the ebbing and the moves, even the eddies and the mini tornados of My Spirit. You will learn. And you will be the desert guides. You will be like the ancient heroes of faith who led many, who made a way for many, who taught and pioneered the way for many.
““Now, listen to me, my servant Jacob, Israel, my chosen one. I am Yahweh, your Creator, who shaped you in my womb. Hear what I have to say to you: ‘Don’t fear. I will help you, O Jacob my servant, Do not fear, my pleasing one, Israel. I will pour refreshing water on the thirsty and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your children, my blessing upon your descendants. They will spring up like grass blanketing a meadow, like poplars growing by gushing streams. One will say, “I belong to Yahweh.” Another will be called Jacob. Yet another will write on his hand “Property of Yahweh.” Another will adopt the name Israel.’ ””
Isaiah 44:1-5 TPT
The desert and the wilderness will start to sprout signs of life. It will start to blossom and bloom in an unceasing fashion. It will not be the temporary super blossoms, the short lived fancies that are common in the desert. This will be a rare event, a scientifically head-scratching event, an inexplainable event, a marvel and a wonder, a great attraction and a sign that truth is taking root in the hearts of barren wilderness. In the place where people had been asleep, where hearts had been asleep, where many consciences were believed to be stone dead, this blossoming, this transformation of wasteland into a plain, a field and even a habitation will be a sign of a resurrection of hearts and minds across the land. The seeds have been planted, and the truth will powerfully water those seeds. You will see a lasting transformation in the desert. They will call it the new land, the wintergreen land. And it will be established as a habitation for many.
How to Respond
- Pursue greater intimacy with the Lord. Trust Him and look forward with great expectation.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Surge within me. Teem with life and vibrant hope within me. Let me be one of those who can say that the wellsprings of Living Water surely flow forth from my belly and surge with the power of the Resurrected King. Lord, I can’t wait to see you transform the hearts and minds of many with truth. I long to see the landscape of this country and even the land itself healed. You alone are good, and You alone can accomplish this Lord.
- Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He changes the times and seasons and He moves kings’ hearts like channels of water. He is the God who makes streams form in the desert and turns a wilderness into a plain. Nothing is too difficult for Him.
- Decree, I will stir up my most holy faith. I will look to the Lord with eyes of faith like a child — in trust and great expectation of the good and the miraculous signs that He will perform. He will do what He said He will do. I will be a vessel of the power of Holy Spirit, and I will be one who guides and disciples the ones transformed by truth.
