2 Corinthians 3
”Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, “When you continue to embrace all that I teach, you prove that you are my true followers. For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.”“
John 8:31-32 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God of Israel says,
This is the strategy of the enemy: he wants to obscure the truth. He wants to obscure the provision for freedom. He wants to hide it, twist it, lie about it and blockade it. The enemy wants to block the way to truth, because the truth is what sets men free. This is why it is vital to speak the truth and to live in truth, to be a representation of truth — because the truth sets men free. The truth breaks every chain. The truth gives people options where lies hold them bound.
”So then, with this amazing hope living in us, we step out in freedom and boldness to speak the truth.“
2 Corinthians 3:12 TPT
I only operate in truth. Be one who deals only in truth, who speaks only truth, who lives only truth. Watch what this free life does. Freedom offends the bound who have grown comfortable and reliant upon their chains. Freedom offends those in power. Freedom offends those who have grown dependent. Freedom offends the lazy. But for those who love adventure, who love to pioneer, who love to look out on the horizon and see unlimited possibilities, freedom is home. Freedom sets their hearts on fire. Freedom is a burning flame that must be treasured and protected. Let your freedom, let your personal level of unfettered freedom draw men to a place of holy jealousy. Let them want what You have, because it is Me.
”But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see. Now, the “Lord” I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever he is Lord, there is freedom. We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.“
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 TPT
Freedom isn’t free, because My Son Jesus paid for it with the highest price. But He gives it as a costly gift to those who will humble themselves and receive it. Allow yourself to fly on the wings of the dawn with Me. Get caught up in the Spirit. Don’t remain tethered to the physical here and now. Allow yourself to come away with Me, to join Me on My perch up high, and see what it truly means to be totally, completely, fully set free. Don’t let religion or expectations tie you down, hold you back, keep you bound. Let My Spirit make you totally and completely, abundantly beyond all you could ask or imagine free.
How to Respond
- Discipline yourself to live completely in truth.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are the One who leads me to all truth. Thank You that Your very Presence carries freedom. Thank You Jesus for the gift of freedom for which You paid the highest price. I will reverence it and accept it with holy awe and gratitude. Lord, help me to live in total abandon to You and in complete and unadulterated truth.
- Declare, where the Spirit of the Lord reigns, there is freedom; and the truth sets us free.
- Decree, I will live committed to the truth, pursuing the truth and in a way that does not apologize for or obscure the path to truth. I will live so free in truth, that people will greatly desire the freedom that I have. My freedom will draw people to the giver of truth and freedom, Christ Jesus. This is a time where the Lord is pouring out His Spirit and igniting a hunger for truth and freedom in the hearts of many. They will not be disappointed.
