Jude 1:17-25
Psalm 118
Isaiah 54

15 The joyful songs I now sing will be sung again
in the hearts and homes of all your devoted lovers.
My loud shouts of victory will echo throughout the land.
For Yahweh’s right hand conquers valiantly!

Psalm 118:15

Praise is Medicine & a Weapon

The Lord says,
Praise is a medicine and a weapon. Praise calms the storm inside of you and takes down giants in the land. Praise is powerful. It should not be underestimated and cannot be overstated. Praise both heals wounds and tears down strongholds. Praise establishes authority. Praise makes authority apparent to both the worshipper and to the enemy. Praise is a mighty mighty tool. It is a blade that heals and that destroys darkness.

Therefore, praise. Worship. Lift up songs of thanksgiving, and declare My Mighty works and faithfulness. Let worship lead you out, and let worship go before you in battle. Worship has powers untold that cannot be fathomed in the natural but are highly activating and powerful in the spiritual realm. Therefore praise. Let praise arise.

11 “You unhappy one, storm-tossed and troubled,
I am ready to rebuild you with precious stones
and embed your foundation with sapphires.
12 I will make your towers of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious, delightful stones.

Isaiah 54:11-12

The Faith of a Child

The Lord says,
I Am causing childlike freedom, joy, hope, and ability to dream visions where nothing is impossible. I am causing people to daydream, to hope and to pull the impossible into reality.

I Am causing eyes to see a panoramic view instead of the tight and narrow view that has been constraining you. I Am causing you to see great expanses, to have hope. And I Am causing your faith to arise like that of a child. I Am causing a great wave of trust to fall on the people —trust that I will catch them and that I will not let them fall. I Am giving them the ability to trust as they step out that I will provide the next step and the next. This isn’t a difficult, fought for trust. This is the easy, unmanufactured trust of a child. I Am making this available and giving grace for this level of trust to be restored in My people.

Just keep walking forward. Keep holding my hand, listening to My voice. I will not let you fall, and I will not fail you. Walk this out with Me, step by step. And you will see that we arrive at a very spacious, beautiful place, with many possibilities, full of fruitfulness. You will see.

Ask for the anointing, the deposit of this kind of trust. Ask for the grace to have the faith of a child in this season that seems so dark and uncertain. Walk with Me, one step and then the next.

5 Out of my deep anguish and pain I prayed,
and God, you helped me as a father.
You came to my rescue and broke open the way
into a beautiful and broad place.
6 Now I know, Lord, that you are for me,
and I will never fear what man can do to me.

Psalm 118:5-6

When we emerge into the light, into the spacious place, you will see that it is beautiful and delights you. You will see that this is where we were heading all along, through the darkness, the storms, the trials and difficulties. My plan through it all was to bring you into a land full of promise and fruitfulness, to a place where your heart soars and your creativity, light and life can roam freely and explore My goodness and the wonderful things I have hidden for you in the beautiful place, in this spacious land.

Worship and trust are the keys of this hour. These are the shields and the weapons that will get you safely to the other side. Carry them continually, and hold My hand.

20 But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit. 21 Fasten your hearts to the love of God and receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us eternal life.

Jude 1:20-21

Let faith arise. Don’t push your faith down as it tries to rise. Don’t tell your faith a negative report. Don’t game out worst-case scenarios when your faith is trying to rise. Shut down all of this negative anti-faith inner monologue, and let faith arise. It wants to come up and out of you. Stop pushing it down with negative, destructive, failing thoughts. No, let faith arise. And push these dark thoughts and discussions out. Sweep them out like trash. They have no value and no place here. This is the place and the time where I Am causing faith to rise. Let it rise.

How to Respond

  • Purpose to live a lifestyle where praise is continual.
  • Even when you don’t feel it, worship, sing, fill your space with sounds of worship.
  • Choose to trust in the Lord.
  • Ask for His anointing and deposit of great grace and trust.
  • Declare that the Lord is moving and is guiding you safely through this dark place into a spacious place of freedom, life and light.
  • Let faith arise. Push out everything that is coming against faith. Give no place to doubt, fear or worst-case scenario planning. Let faith arise.
