Today’s Reading:
Daniel 2
Proverbs 13

Daniel said, “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.

Daniel‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Truth, Righteousness & Justice say,
You’re sitting on the razor’s edge of change. Change is marching steadily forward like troops arrayed for battle, and soon you will be thrust into their midst. Soon you will drop into the middle of change as it is marching forward in formation, and all you will see is change. Everywhere you look change will be marching forward, steadily, surely, undeterred. It won’t take too long to get your bearings. And even if it does take some time to mentally and emotionally catch up, you will be up on your feet quickly after falling into the midst of change; and you will be marching steadily forward in change, surrounded by change. Your head may swirl and your heart may wonder, but your feet will carry you steadily forward.

It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him.

Daniel‬ ‭2‬:‭22‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The truth will be loosed from above in the midst of all this change. And change will march steadily forward. Change will not be tripped up, but those who have attempted to hide themselves in the change as champions and proponents of change but whose hearts are marred with darkness and have no desire for the light — these will see their feet get caught up on the unexpected release of truth. They will be the ones to stumble out of formation, and they will be found out. Change will march on without them. The truth will bring a great thinning of the troops. Truth will expose and trip up and pull out those who are not marching forward for the causes of truth, liberty and justice.

If you want to grow in wisdom, spend time with the wise. Walk with the wicked and you’ll eventually become just like them. Calamity chases the sin-chaser, but prosperity pursues the God-lover.

Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Don’t fear the interlopers. Truth will trip them up, expose them and root them out, even as change marches forward in unrelenting strength, momentum and determination. My grace will drop you in the midst of great change, but you will make the transition quickly. It may not feel graceful to you, but you will adjust and transition and march on among the troops in the great procession of advancing change.

How to Respond

  • Be ready for change.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for bringing change that is advancing for the cause of truth, liberty and justice. Thank You that You have a place for me in that change. Help me to adjust quickly and not resist the move You are bringing to my life.
  • Declare, it is the Lord who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness; and the light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:21-22
  • Decree, the Lord is moving us into a time of extraordinary, unrelenting change that will not slow down, will not be moved but will advance steadily forward. The Lord will move me into position in the midst of this change, and I will assume my new role quickly. The Lord will release unexpected truth that trips up, exposes and pulls out the traitors hiding in the midst of this momentous change. They will not advance with us.
