Hebrews 12
For we are not coming, as Moses did, to a physical mountain with its burning fire, thick clouds of darkness and gloom, and with a raging whirlwind. We are not those who are being warned by the jarring blast of a trumpet and the thundering voice; the fearful voice that they begged to be silenced. They couldn’t handle God’s command that said, “If so much as an animal approaches the mountain it is to be stoned to death!” The astounding phenomena Moses witnessed caused him to shudder with fear and he could only say, “I am trembling in terror!” By contrast, we have already come near to God in a totally different realm, the Zion-realm, for we have entered the city of the Living God, which is the New Jerusalem in heaven! We have joined the festal gathering of myriads of angels in their joyous celebration!
Hebrews 12:18-22 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God who rules and reigns forever say,
I’ve let the cowards in, and the cowards are walking out in the power of My Spirit. Ones who were once labeled wimps, chickens, scardey cats and more — as weak and cowardly as they were, they sought Me. They knocked, they desired and asked to see My face, and I let them in. They came in to My inner chamber, to the sanctuary of My Presence, and they had an audience with the Living God of all Creation. They had a baptism by fire, and they are now men and women on fire. They have gone out from that place, from that meeting, that encounter, and they are cowards no more, wimps no more. They are holy flames burning with boldness, with passion for righteousness’s sake.
And as members of the church of the Firstborn all our names have been legally registered as citizens of heaven! And we have come before God who judges all, and who lives among the spirits of the righteous who have been made perfect in his eyes! And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, “forgiveness,” a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, “justice.”
Hebrews 12:23-24 TPT
I Am giving audience to those whose hearts are pure, whose lips and hands are clean. I Am granting them access to My inner chamber, to My inner sanctuary, and it is here, it is this that will mark them for life. They go in as men and women, boys and girls, but they come out as uncontrolled flames of fire. And these are the flames that will set the world on fire, with raucous, exuberant love for Me and zeal for My Word.
Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven? The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised, “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!” Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakable will remain.
Hebrews 12:25-27
These are not ones who are hearers of the Word only and not doers. These are not ones who have forgotten or are unaware of their identity in Me. No, these are ones who know exactly who they are and whose they are. They are sure ones with feet of stone that only move by the impulses of My Spirit. They are not moved by societal whims, by political winds, by popularity whims. They roar against those vigorously. They rise up in laugher and delight at My Presence. They fear no one and nothing, because they believe the truth of what I have said, of all I have said. They listen for My voice in their ear to say, this is the way, walk in it. And they will not deviate from that path.
Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!
Hebrews 12:28-29 TPT
This is the time of wild ones rising, of cowards being baptized by fire and others of purity being turned into ministers of fire with flames that cannot be diminished or snuffed out.
Through faith’s power they conquered kingdoms and established true justice. Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into reality! It was faith that shut the mouth of lions,
Hebrews 11:33 TPT
Watch as the winds of My Spirit stir up these flames and these flaming ones with passion for My Name and My Word and with vision for what is possible for the cause of righteousness in the Earth. These are the ones who can see past the here and now, and they call forth the reign of righteousness, the Kingdom of Heaven and are beginning to establish it on Earth as it is in Heaven. These are not mild and weak chickens and cowards any longer. These are not those who are so far set apart that they can touch no one. These are my hands-on, aggressive, wild, passionate, love-filled and love-fueled ministers of fire. They are encountering Me even now. They are meeting with Me in this season, and I Am releasing them back into the world completely changed, completely transformed, with vision for a future the prophets have seen and with an assignment that pulls us toward that to make it a reality.
Watch for the release of My flames of fire. Watch for the unleashing of My ministers on fire. Desire My face more than anything, and draw near to be baptized afresh with fiery flames of My love and for My love. You will never be the same.
How to Respond
- Draw near to the Lord. Stir up desire for a life-changing encounter with Him.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You for this season and opportunity to meet with You more intimately than I ever have. I desire to come into Your Holy Presence and commune with You. Draw me in Lord and baptize me afresh with flames of fire and with passion for Your Name. Impart a clear assignment to me along with Your vision, so I can effectively pull Heaven down to Earth and establish righteousness and righteous rule on Earth as it is in Heaven.
- Declare, We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! — Hebrews 12:2 TPT
- Decree, the Lord’s Kingdom is available. It has come and is expanding. His ministers of fire will obey His Word, so that His will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven. I will seek an audience with the Lord Most High, so that I can be baptized with fire and be part of establishing His will on the Earth.
