Deuteronomy 4
Psalm 62
5 “See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. 6 So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’7 For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the Lord our God whenever we call on Him?
Deuteronomy 4:5-7
The Lord says,
Resurrection. Revival. Restoration. Reformation. And a new way of life. A new way of life will emerge like a bright new day — a new way of thinking, of living, of operating. The people will see the treasure in one another and treasure and honor them for it. The people will walk with less baggage, in humility, gentleness and kindness. The air will be lighter. Love will flow more freely between and among the people. Love will flow more freely for the people.
Grace will be established in the land. Justice and truth will stand tall, strong and immovable like mighty pillars of a fortress. Justice and truth will be established in the land, and a flag representing faith in Me will fly high atop them.
62 My soul waits in silence for God only;
Psalm 62:1-2
From Him is my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.
Days of change for the better are happening. Days of change for the better are now. Increased and rapid, powerful change will continue to accelerate and gain momentum. Nothing can stop what I Am doing, and nothing can stop what is coming. I have set the forces in motion. I have sprung the spring to cause this all to move forward unhindered. Change is here; and many, many things will continue to change yet. These are days of much daily, even hourly, even minute-to-minute change. Just ride the wave and don’t hold on to the now too tightly. Let it flow like a passing breeze, because the change is not nearing its endpoint yet. Just flow with the change. Allow change to flow against your skin.
20 But the Lord has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, from Egypt, to be a people for His own possession, as today.
Deuteronomy 4:20
Many changes will happen for you personally in this time. Many changes are happening in the world, especially in the areas of business and government. These will be the immediate areas of most notable change. Those changes will impact and flow to the rest of society.
Changes in the church are also happening. Pulpits are being raised up and others taken away. Yes, change is here for the Church and within churches, amongst the leadership of churches; and the hearts of many congregations are being exposed. Change is here for churches, and their ways will be laid bare. The same for business and government — practices, habits, behaviors — all will be laid bare.
11 Once God has spoken;
Psalm 62:11-12
Twice I have heard this:
That power belongs to God;
12 And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord,
For You recompense a man according to his work.
Exposure and revealing is happening in Hollywood and in the realm of the entertainment industry. Likewise, you see much being laid bare in the sphere of education — in the schools, the unions, the school boards, the universities. Their ways are being exposed and laid bare. It is happening in science and medicine. The truth behind the messages and the narratives is being laid bare. Wicked agendas toward children, toward sexuality, toward the family are being exposed and laid bare.
Those in seats of power in media will increasingly talk to themselves. Their agendas, their agreements, their puppet masters and their scriptwriters will increasingly be laid bare. Their audiences are finding other voices, other venues, other personalities to follow. The media will increasingly devolve, and the few voices will no longer rule the hearts and minds of the people. Instead the media is becoming and will become many, many, many voices.
37 Because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them. And He personally brought you from Egypt by His great power, 38 driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in and to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is today. 39 Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.
Deuteronomy 4:37-39
All of this exposure is driving the churn and pace of change. It will continue to churn, pick up power, and momentum; and the change will be spit out with increasing speed. All of this is heading to a breaking point, to a mighty roar, to a climax, to a flash point. Once that point is reached, the spinning and the churning and the constant change will slow; and it will be overtaken by the new, by the reformers, by the builders, by the pure and the worthy and the honorable.
All of this change is heading to an explosive meeting point, and the direction of history and life as you know it will change for the the good from there. That crisis point, that inflection point will make the way back to freedom, to reform, to healthy and abundant life.
How to Respond
- Trust that the Lord is not surprised or taken off-guard by any of the changes and exposure we see happening.
- Declare, the Lord is faithful, and He is allowing and even causing this exposure to bring about total change, reformation and healing of the land and the people.
- Choose not to partner with anxiety in this time of change. Choose instead to worship, to live in thanksgiving and to be the kind of difference you want to see in the world around you. Be a preview of the way people should operate.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for Your change, Your exposure and Your Hand at work here. Thank You that You are shaking all that needs to be shaken and exposing everything that needs exposing for our benefit and to catalyze full and total healing, change and reformation. Show me my part Lord. Help me to walk faithfully with You through this intense season of shaking, exposure and change.
