Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 54
Luke 10

9 “For this is like the days of Noah to Me,
When I swore that the waters of Noah
Would not flood the earth again;
So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you
Nor will I rebuke you.

Isaiah 54:9

The Lord took me into a vision where I saw one rainbow over my city, then I saw a rainbow over my community, then one appeared over my family’s land, then the U.S. Capitol building, the Louisiana State Capitol building and then around to many capitals and nations of the world. Rainbows appeared over one after the next after the next. I asked the Lord what this meant.

The Lord said,
They are all chosen of Me — the people, the places. I have written My promises over them. I have written My promises of Presence, faithfulness, nearness and accessibility, salvation, eternity, hope and freedom. I have written My promises of love, goodness, mercy, kindness, provision and abundance. These promises are designed to be an anchor, to activate faith and hope and to empower you to action. These promises are for now and for your future. They have no expiration date.

10 “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you,
And My covenant of peace will not be shaken,”
Says the Lord who has compassion on you.

Isaiah 54:10

Your role is to pull on these promises. Remind Me of them. Wrap dreams around them and declare them, so that My angels can be sent to fulfill My words from your lips. Your promises are your inheritance, your birthright. They legally belong to you. Call them forth. Call them forth with declarations of the prophecies over your life. Call them forth with confirming scripture. Declare My promises over your life with authority, audibly.

17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

Luke 10:17-20

Your authority is exerted when you use your voice. Speak the things that are not as though they are. These are days to exercise your authority. It may be a muscle that is weak and atrophied from lack of use. Start slow, and work on it. I have given you authority to tread on snakes and trample scorpions.

54 “Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child;
Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed;
For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous
Than the sons of the married woman,” says the Lord.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent;
Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not;
Lengthen your cords
And strengthen your pegs.
3 “For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left.
And your descendants will possess nations
And will resettle the desolate cities.
4
“Fear not, for you will not be put to shame;
And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced;
But you will forget the shame of your youth,
And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.

Isaiah 54:1-4

Do not concern yourself with questions of whether and when. All of My promises are yes and amen. My Word never fails, never returns void, never drops to the ground without producing a return. In this great and epic spiritual battle, you must use your authority. You must call My will and My promises into action, into reality, into now. They are waiting for you to activate them. Angels are waiting for assignments. Be about your Father’s business. Use your Christ-given authority to activate those promises, and pull them into the reality of the present. These are days of doing, speaking, warring and winning.

How to Respond

  • Choose to trust the Lord.
  • Write a list of His promises to you, the prophecies spoken over your life not yet fulfilled, the prayers you are still waiting to have answered. Declare them back to Him. Pair them with confirming scripture, and use your voice to declare them back to Him. These are days of great fulfillment of promises.
  • Declare, the Lord never forgets His promises to His children. He is activating us to participate in their fulfillment.
  • Decree, the Lord is moving us to a time of great fulfillment and the manifestation of promises and dreams. My words are powerful and activating forces to call what is not into reality in partnership with Him.
  • Pray, Lord, help us to rise up with boldness and partner with you to see the fulfillment of Your promises in our lives, families, communities and nations. Put new dreams in our hearts to declare in this season of great fulfillment.
