Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 49
8 Thus says the Lord,
Isaiah 49:8-10
“In a favorable time I have answered You,
And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people,
To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
9 Saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’
To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’
Along the roads they will feed,
And their pasture will be on all bare heights.
10 “They will not hunger or thirst,
Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down;
For He who has compassion on them will lead them
And will guide them to springs of water.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I have overcome. I have overcome the world. I have overcome darkness, death and the grave. Whom or what shall you fear? Times are changing, but I have overcome. My overcoming is changing times. We are changing times to the days of recognizable overcoming, overthrowing and overturning — overcoming the oppression of darkness, overthrowing reigning principalities, strongholds and demons, and overturning unjust verdicts. Unjust rulings will be overturned. Falsified findings will be overturned. Manipulated outcomes will be overturned. This is a time of great flips. Where things had been steadily heading in one direction for evil, I will interrupt and turn it back for good, turn it back for right, turn it back for true triumph.
17 “Your builders hurry;
Isaiah 49:17-19
Your destroyers and devastators
Will depart from you.
18 “Lift up your eyes and look around;
All of them gather together, they come to you.
As I live,” declares the Lord,
“You will surely put on all of them as jewels and bind them on as a bride.
19 “For your waste and desolate places and your destroyed land—
Surely now you will be too cramped for the inhabitants,
And those who swallowed you will be far away.
Change is incoming. Overcoming, overturning, overthrowing change is incoming. Days of victories and justice are here. Don’t give up at the doorstep. Don’t lie down in defeat on the day of your appointed victory. Stand firm. I have overcome the world, and together we will participate in a great, never seen before period of setting things right, of overthrowing darkness and of tearing down strongholds and ancient demonic structures. Together we will establish a new day. Together we will establish a new way. We will establish new, purified systems upon the ancient foundations of truth, justice and liberty for all. I Am the breaker. I Am the one who breaks the curse. I Am the one who breaks the binds and the shackles and sets men free. I Am the author and giver of freedom. We are walking into days of extraordinary liberty. Liberties and freedom like you have never known will be released to you as the booty of victory. They are the treasure that has been stored up and hidden. They are the gifts that the enemy has stolen and kept locked up. I will be releasing them with My own right hand of righteousness.
24 “Can the prey be taken from the mighty man,
Isaiah 49:24-26
Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?”
25 Surely, thus says the Lord,
“Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away,
And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued;
For I will contend with the one who contends with you,
And I will save your sons.
26 “I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh,
And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine;
And all flesh will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Times are changing. These are glorious days, tumultuous days, very shaky days of overcoming, overthrowing and overturning. They will end in triumph. They will produce many, many triumphs. They will result in victory, in the destruction of evil and wicked systems. And they will end with the establishment of purified systems upon the ancient foundations. These are days to be in anticipation. These are days to be at the ready. These are days to keep your eyes on Me and your hand on the plow. Together we will overcome.
How to Respond
- Set your heart and your gaze on the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Bring Your justice to the Earth. Release your angelic host to wreak havoc on the forces of hell. Show me where to stand and what to do to participate in the overcoming, overthrowing and overturning. You are the God of justice and freedom. Thank You for seeing us, for loving us and for setting Your plan in motion to turn things back to right.
- Declare, the Lord is moving us into a time of great overcoming, overthrowing and overturning.
- Decree, we will see and experience many, many triumphs over wickedness. We will be victorious. We will be set free.
