Today’s Reading:
Romans 10
Psalm 119
Philippians 4
I consider your Word to be my greatest treasure, and I treasure it in my heart to keep me from committing sin’s treason against you. My wonderful God, you are to be praised above all; teach me the power of your decrees! I speak continually of your laws as I recite out loud your counsel to me. I find more joy in following what you tell me to do than in chasing after all the wealth of the world. I set my heart on your precepts and pay close attention to all your ways. My delight is found in all your laws, and I won’t forget to walk in your words.
Psalms 119:11-16 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
A desperate longing for My heart, for My face, for My glory. I respond to hunger, and I respond to faith. Let your deep need call out to Me in faith that I will respond, in faith that I will move on your behalf. Stir up your childlike faith. Look at the lives and the hearts and the posture of those who have childlike faith. What do you notice about them? They are humble. They are devoted to Me. They know Me as Holy Father who does provide, does move, does respond, and is the giver of every good and perfect gift. They know Me personally, very personally — not as some distant figure that they can’t access and can’t hear. Faith in someone comes from knowing them personally, trusting them and building a track record of trust.
However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Romans 10:16-17 NASB1995
Rehearse the Truth. Rehearse My Word. Recount My faithfulness. Recount your own testimonies of My goodness. Will I not show up again? Will I not do it again? I Am the God of miracles. I Am the God for whom nothing is impossible. Why would I stop now? I Am hovering, and I Am in your midst when you invite Me, when you recount My faithfulness, when you speak to one another about My goodness, My mercy, My love and My wonder-working power. Love My precepts. Love My ways and the systems I set forth to cause you to live life well, honorably, nobly and fully.
I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ! And God our Father will receive all the glory and the honor throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen!
Philippians 4:19-20 TPT
Pursue Me in My faithfulness. Abandon the mindsets of lack and doubt. Mine is an ever increasing Kingdom whose resources know no end. Why should My children live in a poverty mindset? I’m the God of always more than enough. Reach out to Me. Expect Me to provide. Expect Me to teach you how to prosper. As you prioritize your life by My Spirit, I will cause all that you touch to flourish. This is life in the Kingdom of God. Will I not do it?
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord and ask Him to help you prioritize your life, so each aspect is aligned with His purposes.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are the one who leads me into all truth. Thank You that with You, I never have to be in lack. Help me to shift my mindset by recounting Your faithfulness, Your goodness, Your kindness, Your love and Your wonder-working power in my life.
- Declare, the Lord is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. The Lord teaches me how to prosper. I belong to an ever-increasing Kingdom in which there is no lack. My God is the God of super-abundance. His resources know no end. He never lies, never leaves, never loses, never fails and never forgets.
- Decree, I will reprioritize my life by the Spirit. I will be in alignment with the purposes and grace of God. I will not slip into fear, doubt or concern about lack. I will recount the goodness of the Lord. I will tell stories of His faithfulness to me forever.
