Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 52
52 Awake, awake,
Isaiah 52:1-3
Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion;
Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city;
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Will no longer come into you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust, rise up,
O captive Jerusalem;
Loose yourself from the chains around your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus says the Lord, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.”
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My chase is on…My chase for the nations. I’m chasing down their hearts. I Am coming for face-to-face encounters. Men have set themselves between Me and My beloved. These men will bow, or they will be pushed out of the way. I Am coming to pursue My people, face-to-face, heart-to-heart. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. Any man who sets himself between Me and My people would do well to move out of the way now.
4 For thus says the Lord [a]God, “My people went down at the first into Egypt to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. 5 Now therefore, what do I have here,” declares the Lord, “seeing that My people have been taken away without cause?” Again the Lord declares, “Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long. 6 Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.’”
Isaiah 52:4-6
I Am coming for powerful encounter. I Am coming for face-to-face, heart-to-heart very personal encounter and change. This is a season of stirring My Bride. This is a season of pursuing and wooing My bride. Any man who comes between us will not stand. We shall be separated no longer. I tore the veil, yet men erected new ones through propping up their personalities, through religious systems that have no place in My Kingdom, through works-based theologies of hell. I will tear down the veil once again. I will encounter My people. Nothing and no one will stand in my way. I Am the way, the truth and the life. And My dear ones, My sleeping Bride will come to Me.
9 Break forth, shout joyfully together,
Isaiah 52:9-10
You waste places of Jerusalem;
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The Lord has bared His holy arm
In the sight of all the nations,
[f]That all the ends of the earth may see
The salvation of our God.
The days you have been dreaming of await. The life you have longed for awaits. The intimacy and healing that your soul craves awaits. Wake up oh sleeper. Wake up My child. It’s time to meet me face-to-face. It’s time to encounter My holy wonder working power. It’s time to run with the horses. Wake up oh sleeping bride, wake up. It’s time to meet me face-to-face, and it’s time to run.
How to Respond
- Survey your relationship with the Lord. Are you relying on anyone other than Jesus to connect personally with Him? If so, move them out of the way.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for seeing us, for loving us and for pursuing us. Thank You that Your heart longs to be with us and to do life with us. Thank You that You are coming to awaken Your sleeping Bride and restore many who have fallen asleep. Thank You for coming to restore spiritual leadership to its rightful place and remove every person who set themselves between You and Your children.
- Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. He raises kings up and He takes others down.
- Decree, I will see the Lord shake the Church and remove leaders who have set themselves between God and the people. I will see the Lord shake and remove the liars in the education system and the media who have built up humanism and have mocked the Living God. I will see a powerful Holy Spirit movement marked by personal encounter with the Lord of All. Many will be saved.
