Psalm 91
Woe to those who legalize injustice and write oppressive legislation! You rip away the rights of the poor and prey upon widows and orphans! What will come of you on your day of visitation when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? And what will you do then with all your great wealth? You’ll have no option but to cringe among the captives or fall among the corpses of the slain! Yet despite all this, his anger has not subsided, and his hand is poised to strike.

I heard the Spirit of the Living Sovereign God say,
I’m getting ducks in a row. I’m setting things up for a fall. A collapse is coming. A big, great fall is coming. A massive fall is coming, but you can rise above it all. You can live above it all, undisturbed by the scene on the ground. What appears to be horrible in this great collapse does not have to affect your emotions, does not have to negatively affect your life. Come up here and stay in this up-higher place where you can see from My perspective. It will still look like great destruction on the ground. It will look like a horrible mess on the ground. But it does not need to impact your heart.
But when the Lord has carried out his purpose on Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will punish the king of Assyria because of his overbearing arrogance and unrestrained pride! He boasted, “Look what I have done by the strength of my hand and by my wisdom. See how clever I am! I have erased the borders of nations and plundered their treasures. I have been like a mighty conqueror, subduing those in strong fortresses. I seized their wealth as one who found an unprotected nest. As one who gathers eggs that have been left behind, so I gathered the wealth of the world. And the young birds could neither move a wing nor even open their mouths to peep!”

A financial collapse is coming, but I have shown you how to be prepared. What looks like massive destruction was actually a controlled demolition that has been planned from the beginning. The truth will be seen once the dust settles, once the air clears. In hindsight, as history, this will be looked at and remembered as the greatest day. The destruction will be celebrated. The demolition will be cheered. In the moment and in the days that follow, it will seem like a tremendous, unmitigated, sprawling disaster. But when the dust settles and the debt clears, you will see that the chains came off. You will see that debt has been removed. You will see that what was before a heavy weight of imposition has been replaced by the lightness and the airiness, the sweet fresh breeze of freedom.
In that day, neither the remnant of Israel nor the survivors of the house of Jacob will lean anymore upon the one who abused them, but they will lean fully on the faithfulness of the Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel. A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob’s tribes to the mighty God. Though your people Israel were as many as the sand on the seashore, only a remnant will return. Destruction has been decreed, and it will be overflowing with righteousness. For the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, will complete the destruction he has decreed upon the whole land. So hear what the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, has to say: “My Zion-people, do not be gripped with fear over the Assyrians who oppress and abuse you, as the Egyptians did long ago. After only a brief moment, I will end my indignation against you, and it will fall upon them to their destruction!” The Lord Yahweh, who commands angel armies, will wield his whip against them, as when he struck Midian at the rock of Oreb. And once again he will raise his rod over the waters, as he did in Egypt. In that day the Lord will remove the heavy burden from your shoulders and break off the yoke of bondage from your necks because of the heavy anointing upon you!

Don’t fear the collapse or the destruction. It is truly birthing and making way for freedom. Pure freedom. Enjoy the demolition, because you know what will rise from the ashes is a new day and true freedom.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, help me to get my ducks in a row. Show me how to be prepared, and give me the grace to do all that You put in my heart to do. Thank You that You are moving on plans that You have had from the beginning. Thank You that You are the God who sees us, who fights for us, and who has already won every victory. Show me how to come up-higher and remain up-higher, so I am not disturbed or upset by Your controlled demolition.
- Declare, I will not fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble me, nor will the powers of evil be launched against me. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, I will remain unscathed and unharmed. I will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? — Psalms 91:6-10 TPT
- Decree, I will not fear a coming financial collapse. I will do what the Lord instructs, and I will watch from my position in the up-higher place as the Lord brings His controlled demolition and sets the people free.
