Today’s Readings:
Song of Solomon 2
Isaiah 49
10 “My beloved responded and said to me,
Song of Solomon 2:10-12
‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along.
11 ‘For behold, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
12 ‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
The Lord says,
I Am in the midst of this place and time of great transition; and the people will be reminded that no one provokes Me with impunity. I Am gracious. I Am kind. I Am love. I Am forgiveness. And I have risen to defend the cause of My righteous ones, to defend the honor of My holy Name, and to defend the covenant I made with those who laid it all down to establish this nation in freedom and in irrevocable connection with Me. This is a time of great transition. This is a time where personal purpose will be clarified.
22 Thus says the Lord God,
Isaiah 49:22-23
“Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations
And set up My standard to the peoples;
And they will bring your sons in their bosom,
And your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.
23 “Kings will be your guardians,
And their princesses your nurses.
They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth
And lick the dust of your feet;
And you will know that I am the Lord;
Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame.
This is a time where those on the side of evil will fall flat on their faces in full view of the world. They laugh, they sneer, they mock and they deride Me and those who love Me and bear My Name. But they are the ones operating in great ignorance and upon whom grave consequences are due. Their days are very numbered. Their time has been cut short.
I have risen. I Am in the midst of this time and place of great transition, and I will wipe the stage clean. No longer will you sit in the presence of scorners and mockers and be oppressed by their cruelty and wickedness. I Am wiping the stage clean with one swipe of My arm. Silence, truth, and celebration will follow in quick succession.
4 “He has brought me to his banquet hall,
Song of Solomon 2:4
And his banner over me is love.
These are glorious days of oppression, wickedness and perversion being removed from the stage and being removed from the seats and halls of power. In their place, freedom will be planted and will arise at center stage. She will fly as a banner, and the people will know it was because of My love. They will say, know and and proclaim, “His banner over Me is love.”
How to Respond
- Stir up affection for the Lord in your heart. Thank the Lord for His faithfulness and remind Him of our great need for justice.
- Pray, Lord thank You for Your kindness, Your mercy, Your love and faithfulness. Thank You for being in the midst of us and right in the middle of this wild time of transition. Move for us in justice Lord. Move in justice for the children and for all of the people. We desperately need Your move, Your hand, Your righteousness, Your justice. Show me what my part is too.
- Declare, the Lord is moving to overturn the works of the enemy. He is removing the wicked ones from places of power and influence. He is moving in justice on behalf of His people, on behalf of His Name, and because of His covenant with the Founding Fathers. The Lord’s banner over me is love.
- Decree, I am on the side of the Lord, and I will experience His justice.
