Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 11
7 but your own eyes have seen all the great work of the Lord which He did. 8 “You shall therefore keep every commandment which I am commanding you today, so that you may be strong and go in and possess the land into which you are about to cross to possess it; 9 so that you may prolong your days on the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deuteronomy 11:7-9
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Grace. My grace is here for change. My grace is here for closed doors and leaps forward. My grace is here for entrance into the unknown. It’s time to leap. It’s time to fly. I Am cutting the fetters that have bound your wings, and I Am releasing you into the open skies. You have longed for adventure. Adventure is here. You have longed for My grace for change to come. Well, it is flowing like a waterfall. You have wanted change, and I have shown you change’s steady march forward. I have shown you that change was incoming. Well, the days for change are here.
10 For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot like a vegetable garden.11 But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.
Deuteronomy 11:10-12
My grace is here for change. My grace is here for you to make changes you have long desired. Step into change as I beckon you forth. It will be like you step off of the carousel ride you have been on, out into a wide-open spacious place where you walk freely, unconstrained by the movement, momentum and music of the carousel. You are stepping out under your own power because of My grace. You are stepping out from the make believe into the real. You are stepping out from the forced song and dance into freedom and nature. You are stepping out into blue sky living, blue sky dreaming and uninhibited delight. You are stepping out into pure joy, into freedom.
It all requires change. It requires change of direction, change of thinking, change of attitude and perhaps even change of loyalties. My grace is here for change. My grace is here to step off the carousel ride that has bound you and defined you and become something that you despise. My grace for change is here. My grace for freedom is here. My grace for stepping off of the carousel ride once and for all is here.
How to Respond
- Hold on loosely to the status quo and allow the Lord to direct you toward change.
- Pray, Lord, here I am. You know the condition of my heart. You know the desires and frustrations, the feeling of confining and the longing for change. You know my fears and uncertainties too. Fill me with Your grace and with the absolute knowing of the right change to make at the right moment. Help me walk closely with You in ready obedience. Bring the change as You have said Lord.
- Declare, the Lord’s grace for change is here. He is moving and stirring His people. He is closing doors and opening the pathway to freedom. He is calling people to get off of the carousel ride that they feel trapped by and to walk out into change and freedom.
- Decree, I will step out, move and walk forward as the Lord calls. I will not be bound by fear of the unknown. I will walk in the Lord’s generous outpouring of grace into change and freedom.
