Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 60

4 Lift up your eyes all around, and see;
they all gather together, they come to you;
your sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5
Then you shall see and be radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult,
because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
the wealth of the nations shall come to you.

Isaiah 60:4-5

The Spirit of the Lord says,
This is resurrection season. This is the time of new life and more light. This is a season of fresh commitment, of re-commitment and of a bountiful spring harvest. This is a time of great acknowledgement of the King. This is a time of bowing down in humility and awe, in reverence and deep deep love for King Jesus. This is a time of recognizing your place, your position, your purpose, your function and the authority I have given you. This is a time of abiding, of choosing communion and connection over the petty things of this world, over distractions and even over perfectly fine and acceptable things. Communion with Jesus will be your supreme desire, will be the supreme desire of hearts and lives. All else will fade away. Adoring Jesus, worshipping Jesus, sitting at the feet of Jesus will completely capture and enrapture His lovers.

60 Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Isaiah 60:1-3

His lovers are being drawn out from the wilderness to be with Him. He is drawing them out from despair, from dry times, from loneliness and isolation. He is drawing them into His tribe, into His Kingdom and He is imbuing them with power. This time with Jesus, this drawing to Jesus is one of deep humility, of great refreshing — like water begin poured on parched bones. He is reanimating, refreshing and bringing life back to His dry bones lovers who have felt forgotten and abandoned in the wilderness. He is calling them up to a place of communion, refreshing, refueling, empowering and adoration. He is calling up hearts and lives and families. He is leading many out of the wilderness in great droves to come and sit at his feet, to be fed, taught and nurtured. He is leading them to worship, to deep restorative worship, and He is flushing out the remaining debris from their souls. His is bringing the cleansing that was not completed in the wilderness. This is a great cleansing, a great refreshing and an unparalleled time of communion with Him, communing with King Jesus.

13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you,
the cypress, the plane, and the pine,
to beautify the place of my sanctuary,
and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

Isaiah 60:13

In His Presence, time disappears and all there is is love, healing, filling, connection, restoration and unceasing adoration of His goodness, of His faithfulness, of His realness and of His truth. Those marked by the wilderness will be marked yet again. They will be marked deeper and more noticeably by this calling out of the wilderness, by this rich, holy, glorious time in the Presence of King Jesus. You will desire to never leave Him. You will desire to never break communion. You will get refilled. You will be one who overflows with Presence. You will be one anointed with the oil of gladness that comes from the Presence of King Jesus. You will be one who is willing to step away from anything that is not Him, does not reflect Him and does not carry His purpose for your life. Much that was held onto will be left — discarded and abandoned at the feet of Jesus for His higher calling, for the bigger dream, for whatever it is that carries the promise of His Presence.

I want to be with you. Come wilderness warriors, come. Come out of the wilderness, and come to the place of My Presence. Come and be filled. Come and commune with Me. I want to be with you.

How to Respond

  • Answer the call of Jesus as He is drawing you out from the wilderness, the dry place of testing and refining. Determine to settle for nothing less than rich, unbroken communion with Him.
  • Pray, Lord, I want to be with You. Show me the way out of the wilderness. Show me how to get to the place where Your Presence is drawing. Complete the work You began and have been diligently doing inside of me in the wilderness. Do the final cleansing You have prepared for me in this season. Fill me afresh with Your love, Your Presence. Heal me. Make me whole. Revive me and woo me with Your Presence.
  • Declare, the Lord is calling His wilderness warriors up out of the wilderness to a new level of Presence — where we can experience cleansing, refreshing, revival of our hearts and souls, and deep unbroken communion with King Jesus.
  • Decree, I will leave this wilderness place as the Lord calls. I will bow in the Presence of King Jesus. I will receive the cleansing He has for me. I will sit at His feet in deep communion, in refreshing, receiving a fresh anointing of gladness and being filled with the joy of His Presence. I will leave anything He calls me to leave here at His feet.
