Today’s Reading:
Psalm 9
Matthew 5
But Yahweh, our mighty God, reigns forever! He sits enthroned as King ready to render his verdicts and judge all with righteousness. He will issue his decrees of judgment, deciding what is right for the entire world, dispensing justice to all.
Psalms 9:7-8 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Truth say,
I Am for you. My love is unshakeable, and My foundation is sure. A great harvest is upon you, and it is coming in the midst of heavy rains. The harvest fields will be saturated with My heavy rains of recompense and judgement. The thieves working along side you in the harvest fields will experience the rain, just as you do.
All who are oppressed may come to Yahweh as a high shelter in the time of trouble, a perfect hiding place. For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. Listen, everyone! Sing out your praises to the God who rules in Zion! Tell the world about all the miracles he has done! He tracks down killers and avenges bloodshed, but he will never forget the ones forgotten by others, hearing every one of their cries for justice.
Psalms 9:9-12 TPT
For some it will be the rain of My great favor, rain of restoration, rain of new purposes and rain of recompense and refreshing. And for others, it will be a start strike of judgement. It will be the rains that remove what they are carrying in their hands. Don’t fear the thieves in the harvest fields. Don’t concern yourself with them. I see them, and I Am dealing with them. The same rain that brings you relief, refreshing and recompense will remove them from the harvest fields, will chase them out of the harvest fields and will take from them what they are carrying in their hands.
Don’t forget this: all the wicked will one day fall into the darkness of death’s domain, including the nations that forget God and reject his ways. He will not forget the needs of the poor. One day the needy will be remembered, and their hopes will not be forever dashed in disappointment. Yahweh, it’s time to arise and judge the nations who defy you. Don’t let rebellious men triumph. Make them tremble in fear before your presence. Place a lawgiver over them. Make them know that they are only puny, frail humans who must give account to you! Pause in his presence
Psalms 9:17-20 TPT
The harvest is now. The harvest is plenty. Be found being busy about your Father’s work. Delight in it. Delight in Me, and make your joy to be full. I will add to it. I will cause it to overflow. This is the season for the overflow of joy. It’s the season for an abundance of rain that restores and retires that brings recompense and judgement, that refreshes and removes. Be found being busy about Your Father’s business, and delight yourself in Him. He will give you the desires of your heart, and He will cause your cup to overflow. The heavy rains of favor and judgment are rolling in over the harvest fields. The people of the Lord will prevail.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord to focus and prioritize your day, so you are doing the work He has for you to do.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that Your rain falls on the just and the unjust. Thank You that You see everything, and You know every heart. Thank You that You are dealing with the wicked even as You are bringing refreshing, restoration and recompense to those who love You.
- Declare, the foundations of His throne are righteousness and justice. The Lord will deal mercifully and justly with me.
- Decree, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. The Lord is bringing His judgement to the Earth. His judgements are perfect, and His ways are pure. He will bring recompense to me for all the enemy has stolen, plus interest. He is bringing refreshing, restoration and joy overflowing. He will chase the wicked from their places of influence and remove what they carry in their hands.
