Today’s Reading:
Psalm 68
Psalm 118
Isaiah 59
Psalm 91

‘God Almighty declares the word of the gospel with power, and the warring women of Zion deliver its message: “The conquering legions have themselves been conquered. Look at them flee!” Now Zion’s women are left to gather the spoils.’

Psalms 68:11-12 TPT

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Warring women of Zion, war with your prayers. War with your words, with your righteous declarations of My Word, My promises, My Holy Scripture. War with truth from victory. You have the upper hand. You are stationed on the high ground. Destroy the works of evil with your words, with your warring songs of victory. Sing beautiful songs of praise to your King. Sing songs of highest praise to the Lord of the highest place, and give a great shout of victory!

‘According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.’

Isaiah 59:18-20 KJV

Sing songs of victory, triumph and praise. Sing songs of thanksgiving, of overcoming, of breakthrough. These are days of glorious warring breakthrough. These are the days of relentless war and also relentless victory. The enemy has come in like a flood, but I have raised up My standard against him. And every battle fought from the position of My victory, fought from the strength of the joy I have placed inside of you through Christ Jesus will be won. Position yourself in Me. Stand on Christ the solid rock and the only firm foundation, and war and win from victory. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty for the tearing down of strongholds. Every battle fought from your protected place in Me, from the position of victory that Jesus has already won and secured will be a winning battle, will be a winning fight. Watch as I bring breakthrough after breakthrough, victory after victory.

‘Let all his lovers who bow low before him sing, “His constant, tender love lasts forever!” Out of my deep anguish and pain I prayed, and God, you helped me as a father. You came to my rescue and broke open the way into a beautiful and broad place. Now I know, Lord, that you are for me, and I will never fear what man can do to me. For you stand beside me as my hero who rescues me. I’ve seen with my own eyes the defeat of my enemies. I’ve triumphed over them all! Lord, it is so much better to trust in you to save me than to put my confidence in someone else.’

Psalms 118:4-8 TPT

War is messy. Battles are hairy, and it is not always easy to see and think clearly in the fight. Quiet yourself even on the field of battle, and listen for the still small sound of My voice saying, this is the way, walk in it. I will show you the path to victory. I will light it before your feet. We are walking into days of relentless battles and resounding victories. Gird yourself for the fight. Put on and keep on the full armor of God. Trust your ability to hear My voice. Know that your Savior and King has already won every victory before you ever face the battle. We are walking into days of intensity and heat. We are walking into days of many vicious battles. But victory and peace are your portion. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. I will guide you and lead you on. In the Mighty Name of Jesus every battle shall be won.

How to Respond

  • Stir up the joy of the Lord. It will be your strength.
  • Sing songs of praise, thanksgiving, breakthrough and victory. Have them playing around the clock in your home, car and workplace.
  • Pray, Lord Jesus thank You that You have won every victory. Before I needed a way, You made a way. Help me to stay close to Your heart, to shelter myself under Your great strength and to move forward in bold confidence that You are with me, You cover me, You have gone before me, and every victory has already been won by You. Every victory already belongs to You, and I will see victory after victory as I remain firmly and immovably secured in You.
  • Declare, the enemy has been defeated. Death couldn’t hold You down. I’m gonna lift my voice in victory. I’m gonna sing Your praises loud.
  • Decree, My God is the ever-victorious One. He has never lost, and He never will. He will see me through this intense war season, and as I stay close to His heart, I will see victory after victory after victory.
