Today’s Reading:
Psalm 107
Proverbs 24

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.”

Psalm‬ ‭107:1-9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
I Am moving to meet the heart’s desires of My children, of My beloved ones, of the ones who love Me deeply. I Am moving to answer and meet the desires of My lovers’ hearts. It’s time for change. It’s time to answer. It’s time to deliver long hoped for gifts and astonish even the biggest of dreamers with My goodness. My goodness is here. It is always available. My goodness is here, and it is rushing in to meet you. My goodness will come in like a flood. It will flood and fill and water the dry hearts of many, the dry lives of many, the dry places of many. I Am making springs in the desert place. I Am making a way out of the wilderness. I Am calling up My wilderness dwellers, My desert bound lovers. I Am calling them up to service, to life, to a place of life and abundance.

“He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish.”

Psalm‬ ‭107:35-38‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Hearts will thrill. Souls and lips and lungs will rejoice. The desire to leave the desert has been great. The longing to leave the wilderness has been strong. The blasting sandy desert winds have refined you, have purified you, have chipped away at all that is not worthy to go where we are going. Much of what you were carrying, much of what you were wearing and considering as part of yourself could not come where we are going. The calling out of the wilderness is for the purified ones, the ones who have withstood the fire, the cleansing, the abrasive sandy winds and have remained, have gone deeper, have become purer more devoted ones to Me. You have walked through the fire, through the hot sandy blasting desert winds, and now I Am calling you up and out of the wilderness. I Am calling you to an inhabited city. I Am calling you as builders, as travelers who are coming to establish home. I Am calling you from transience and uncertainty to establishment, to building, to residence, to ownership and to authority.

“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

Proverbs‬ ‭24:3-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

It’s time to move in. It’s time to establish. It’s time to create home. You are no longer a sojourner, a wilderness dweller, a citizen without a country. I Am calling you to move in. I Am calling you to reside. I Am calling you to establish home. My grace will take you there, and it will meet you there. Watch as My grace hovers over every aspect, every decision, every formality and proceeding. My grace will guide you, lead you and meet you there. My grace will go with you to the banker and to the lawyer. My grace is in the paperwork, the deeds and the trust. My grace is permeating every aspect of your forward movement. You are to be wilderness dwellers no longer. I Am calling you to establish home, establish residence and operate in established, firmly grounded, maturely planted authority. My grace is going before you, and My grace is leading you up and out. It’s time to establish home.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You are calling me up and out of the wilderness. Thank You that You are making this a time of refreshing and establishing roots and home. Lead me Lord, and help me to go, full of faith where You are calling me knowing the provision You have promised and secured will meet me there.
  • Declare, the Lord is calling His lovers out of the wilderness to an inhabited city. He is calling us to move in, to be planted, established and operate in the authority He has firmly rooted in us.
  • Decree, I will not linger in the wilderness. I will move as the Lord calls me, and I will go where He leads me to go. I will establish residency and home, and I will operate in the authority He has placed inside of me.
