Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 54

“Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child;
Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed;
For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous
Than the sons of the married woman,” says the Lord.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent;
Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not;
Lengthen your cords
And strengthen your pegs.
3 “For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left.
And your descendants will possess nations
And will resettle the desolate cities.

Isaiah 54:1-3

The Lord says,
Make room for Me. Make room in your heart for Me. Make room in your life for Me. Make room in your day for Me — for interruptions, detours, delays, divine setups. Make room in your budget for Me — for My house, My causes, My people. Make room in your heart for new — for the new things I want to do inside of you and the new things I want to bring to you. Make room in your heart.

You have walked through a refining season, through a pruning season, through an aggressive and seemingly relentless pruning season. You have walked through a season of letting go; of dropping the former things; releasing the unneeded, unhelpful, the no longer useful things. It was all to create space in your life, in your heart, in your bank account for what I Am about to do. Watch as I flood your life with good. Watch as I flood your life with new, with blessings overflowing, with the oil of My pleasure that heals the cracked and dry places in your soul. Watch as I come in like a gentle breeze, like a soft spring rain and cause the bounty of Heaven to be released in your life. Yes, make room.

4 “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame;
And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced;
But you will forget the shame of your youth,
And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
5 “For your husband is your Maker,
Whose name is the Lord of hosts;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the God of all the earth.

Isaiah 54:4

Keep those empty places clear. Don’t fill them with new junk, don’t replace old immoral friends with new immoral friends. Don’t replace old mindless chatter with new mindless chatter. Don’t replace old filthy shows with new filthy shows. Don’t replace old stresses with new ones. Leave the space clear. Leave it clear for Me. Leave it clear for My work. What I have asked you to remove, leave it removed. What I have pruned, don’t go and fill with useless things.

Only pick up that which is purposeful, that which is honorable, and that which I have called you to pick up. The test is this — is My pleasure on the new thing that you have picked up in place of the old? If not, drop it. Has My hand or My voice guided to you pick up the new thing? If not, put it back down. The space created is for a purpose, and I’m asking you to make even more room. This is the final clean out before a new move in. This is the final pruning before spring. The space that you make is the space that I can fill. So make room. And watch as I knock your socks off with blessing, with new, with amazing, with wonderful, with beyond what you could have ever dreamt or fathomed. Because I Am that good.

11 “O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted,
Behold, I will set your stones in antimony,
And your foundations I will lay in sapphires.
12 “Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies,
And your gates of crystal,
And your entire wall of precious stones.

Isaiah 54:11-12

You are about to see Me pour out My goodness on your life and in your life in a way you never expected or dreamt was possible. Make room. Hoarders will miss opportunity. Those who cling tightly to the now or to the past will miss opportunity. I Am doing something NEW. You can’t perceive it? It’s coming to your doorstep. Make room.

This is a final call before My breeze of blessing comes in. Drop the bad habits. Drop the mindless chatter. Drop the negative talk and negative inputs. Drop what causes anxiety. Drop your desire to hold on to anxiety like a crutch. Drop fear. Drop filling every silence with sound. Make room for My voice, My Presence, My pleasure. Make room for Me, My move, My blessing, My new things, My goodness. Make room.

How to Respond

  • Stir up affection for the Lord. Stir up anticipation for experiencing His blessing, His goodness and the new thing He is doing in the earth.
  • Sit with the Lord and take an inventory of how you fill up your days. Ask Him to highlight any areas you need to prune, any unhealthy, useless or just not helpful habits, programs, friendships, etc., that are filling your life. He is asking for it to be sparse, so that He can fill it.
  • Pray, Lord, help me to take every aspect of My life and submit it to You — for cleansing, for purifying, for refining and pruning. I long to make my whole life a beautiful offering to you. I desire to bring the sacrifices of praise and obedience to Your feet. Help me to see what I am not seeing. Help me to hear your voice and obey it.
  • Declare, the Lord is absolutely good. He has brought me through the wilderness, the refining fire and the pruning knife for a purpose. He desires to remove what is not beneficial, what is not in my best interest, what is not for me or for now, so He can fill those spaces with His incredible unmeasurable blessing.
  • Decree, there is no one like our God. He is worthy. He is holy. He is Lord of All. I am making my life an open vessel to receive the Lord’s blessing. I am making extra margin in my day and my bank account, so that I can be a blessing to others as the Lord guides.
  • Decree, we are walking into a glorious and unexpected spring rain of blessing that will amaze, delight and cause spontaneous worship to the Giver of every good and perfect gift, our Father of Heavenly Lights, the Lord God Almighty. Thank You King Jesus for making the way, showing the way and being the way back to the Father.
