Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 33
Hebrews 12

6 And He will be the stability of your times,
A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge;
The fear of the Lord is his treasure.
7 Behold, their brave men cry in the streets,
The ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
8 The highways are desolate, the traveler has ceased,
He has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities,
He has no regard for man.
9 The land mourns and pines away,
Lebanon is shamed and withers;
Sharon is like a desert plain,
And Bashan and Carmel lose their foliage.
10 “Now I will arise,” says the Lord,
“Now I will be exalted, now I will be lifted up.

Isaiah 33:6-10

The Spirit of the Lord says,
New York is a dark city, but it is known as a city of lights. Lights do shine in the darkness there, and they will get brighter and brighter and brighter till the city feels like noonday around the clock. I Am bringing a transformation and overhaul that will reveal many disgusting and unthinkable, unspeakable things. You have to know what is lurking and what the vermin are in order to effectively eliminate them. Exposure is necessary — for the public’s change of heart, for their awakening and to bring true justice. True justice can’t happen in the dark. It must happen in the light.

It will feel like a great flood of disgusting information is vomited out on the public, and many will feel slimed and covered and disgusted by this. Many will want to be cleansed from the knowledge and the sight of this. But a feeling of underlying disgust will remain with the people. It won’t be something that can be washed off, brushed off or forgotten. It will set them to work. It will be the fuel and the fury that causes them to erupt as flames of fire against the dark foes, the pests, the predators and the vermin that have been operating in the darkness.

11 “You have conceived chaff, you will give birth to stubble;
My breath will consume you like a fire.
12 “The peoples will be burned to lime,
Like cut thorns which are burned in the fire.
13
“You who are far away, hear what I have done;
And you who are near, acknowledge My might.”
14 Sinners in Zion are terrified;
Trembling has seized the godless.
“Who among us can live with the consuming fire?
Who among us can live with continual burning?”
15 He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity,
He who rejects unjust gain
And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe;
He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed
And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;
16 He will dwell on the heights,
His refuge will be the impregnable rock;
His bread will be given him,
His water will be sure.
17
Your eyes will see the King in His beauty;
They will behold a far-distant land.

Isaiah 33:11-17

Disgust will birth a great wave of repentance and will cause formerly sleeping ones, formerly apathetic ones, formerly stand by and watch or keep my head in the sand ones to burn with passion for purity and the Name of Jesus and to burn with a fury that consumes evil in their midst. Many who have gone about their lives day-to-day as if nothing is happening or as if there’s nothing they can do to affect change will be brought to their knees because of the disgusting vomited flood of information that reveals the condition of the place, the atmosphere and even the insidious nature of disgusting darkness that has permeated every aspect of culture without answer. Repentance will be the response. And these purified wines, whose eyes newly burn for purity because of the revelation of evil, and because of the revelation of Me and My holiness will erupt as white hot flames of fire whose heat and burning cannot be extinguished, whose purity, truth and relentless burning destroys and devastates the works of evil amongst them.

25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. 26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:25-29

This will happen in New York as the kimono is peeled back that has been covering the wickedness, the abuse, the darkness and the filth. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear will rise up and seek Me for shelter, seek Me for answers, seek Me for forgiveness of sin and apathy, and I will light a flame in them that the world has never seen. Mark my words. This revelation of evil is coming to New York, and it will only be upstaged by the revelation of Me that follows in its wake. I Am an all consuming fire.

How to Respond

  • Sit with the Lord and ask Him to search your heart and life — to bring to light any areas that need His purifying touch through your repentance.
  • Pray, Lord, thank You that Your heart is for New York — that You love New York and You will have her. Thank You for Your campaign to expose darkness in order to extinguish its deeds, operations and power. Thank You that You are an all consuming fire, and the ones who run to You will find healing, wholeness, personal resurrection, and they will become as white as snow. Thank You for the gifts of repentance and salvation. Thank You for lighting a flame for purity and holiness that has never been seen before. We are looking for it in New York Lord. Thank You.
  • Declare, our God is an all consuming fire. Exposure and awakening in New York will birth a wave of repentance and fury — driven and fueled by purity — that the world has never known.
  • Decree, I will see New York as a city of lights. I will see New York as bright as the noonday sun around the clock because of the fire of purity that burns within her.
