Today’s Reading:
Psalm 84
“God of Heaven’s Armies, you find so much beauty in your people! They’re like lovely sanctuaries of your presence. Deep within me are these lovesick longings, desires and daydreams of living in union with you. When I’m near you, my heart and my soul will sing and worship with my joyful songs of you, my true source and spring of life! O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God, even the sparrows and swallows are welcome to build a nest among your altars to raise their young.”
Psalms 84:1-3 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Treasures found in darkness, in the secret place. I have treasures hidden for My lovers who have been living well amidst the darkness. I have hidden it for them in the secret place of blessing. I have an underground brook of blessing deep beneath the surface. It is hidden for the delight of My lovers. It is hidden for the provision of My lovers. It is hidden for those who go searching amidst the darkness for Me.
The storm is approaching. Though it is fearsome and mighty, there is a place hidden deep beneath the surface, a refuge for My lovers that is well supplied with a beautiful brook of blessing. Come hide here in My Presence. Come hide, though all around you seems dark. Come take refuge in My Presence, and drink deeply from the brook of My blessing. You do not need to fear the storm. You do not need to fear the rain. The storm will end in your benefit. The rain will cleanse the land. And all the while, I will hide you from it in the shadow of My right hand.
“What pleasure fills those who live every day in your temple, enjoying you as they worship in your presence! Pause in his presence How enriched are they who find their strength in the Lord; within their hearts are the highways of holiness! Even when their paths wind through the dark valley of tears, they dig deep to find a pleasant pool where others find only pain. He gives to them a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring. They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion.”
Psalms 84:4-7 TPT
Keep living your life. Keep doing the work I have put in your hand, but make your heart very attentive to My voice. Keep your ears perked up for My instructions. You may have to make quick decisions. You may need to make fast moves. This is a serious time — a grave and sobering time, but I will cover you. I will hide you in the shadow of My hand. Fear not, for I Am with you, and I will hide you, cover you and uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.
It’s time to discover Kingdom living. It’s time to discover Kingdom provision, Kingdom lifestyle, Kingdom freedom. My Kingdom is never a place of lack. My Kingdom is a place of always more than enough. Provision is here. Grace is here. Abundance is here. Fullness of joy is here, in My Kingdom.
“Hear my cry, O God of Heaven’s Armies! God of Jacob, listen to my loving prayer. Pause in his presence God, your wraparound presence is our defense. In your kindness look upon the faces of your anointed ones. For just one day of intimacy with you is like a thousand days of joy rolled into one! I’d rather stand at the threshold in front of the Gate Beautiful, ready to go in and worship my God, than to live my life without you in the most beautiful palace of the wicked.”
Psalms 84:8-10 TPT
Put on a Kingdom mindset. Put on the reality of Kingdom, and take off that old mindset of poverty, of lack, of scarcity. You get what you have faith for getting. If you have faith that trouble is coming and poverty will befall you, you will reap the reward of your faith for that. It is a sad and very unnecessary reward, but it is what you called for in faith. If you have faith that I will show up, that I will deliver, that I will provide, that you will never lack — you will reap the reward of that faith. If you have faith that I will surround you with faithful people, you will reap the reward of that faith. It is high time to switch gears, to switch mindsets. Take off that old poverty mindset. Take off that old loser thinking. It’s time to get your heart and mind aligned with Kingdom reality. It’s time to reap the benefits of Kingdom mindset and Kingdom living.
“For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all! O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, what euphoria fills those who forever trust in you!”
Psalms 84:11-12 TPT
Walk in faith, and you will never lack. Speak words of faith, and they will create the outcomes of Your heart’s desire. I made you to create, like Me. And how do I create? With words. Let your words only be about the life you have faith to create. Let them be words of life, not death, of blessing, not cursing — because whether you acknowledge it or not, your words ARE creating. They are. In the tongue is the power of life and death. That’s not just a nice saying. It’s not just a call not to gossip, though it is that. It’s a warning and a key. Only speak what you want to create. Period. Watch how much life flows forth from that change. It will lead you right to that brook of blessing. Kingdom living will lead you to the brook of blessing, even in dark times. Step into My Kingdom living, and put on My Kingdom mindset.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, I repent for living in and speaking from a poverty mindset. Help me to bridle my tongue and align my thinking to Kingdom reality. Help me to retrain my mind to agree with the truth of Your Word — that You always provide, that You never lead us into failure, that Your Kingdom is one of abundance and more than enough, that You love us and or for us, that our healing has been provided. Help me to take every single thought captive and make it bow to Kingdom reality and the truth and provision of King Jesus.
- Declare, the Lord is calling us to live with a faith mindset and take off that old poverty mindset. He is calling us to refuse the lies of the enemy and to accept and align with the blessing of abundant life, full provision and great miracles in Him.
- Decree, I refuse to wear the poverty mindset any longer. I take it off and put on the mindset of Kingdom. I put a bridle on my own tongue and determine to only speak life about my health, about my family, about my finances and about my future. I will walk as one whose words create the life that I desire, because that is what the Lord says is true.
