Today’s Readings:
Matthew 6
1 Peter 1

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:3-5

The Lord says,
Worship Me alone. I Am holy. I Am exalted. Exalt Me in your heart and life. Exalt Me in your eyes and heart. Make Me first, and you will see My glory. Make Me first, and the knowledge of My glory will cover the earth as sand covers the bottom of the sea. Seek Me first. Desire Me first. Put Me first. As you do, a greater revelation of My love will pour out on you. A greater awareness of My Presence, My glory, My goodness will surround you. I Am not changing. Your perspective is. Your perception and understanding is what is changing. I Am unchanging, but it is My glory to transform you. I glory in seeing My glory change you — change you through the glorious impartation of a revelation of Me.

13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:13

When you begin to fathom the unfathomable One, you will see that there is no end to the possibilities in Me. There is no such thing as impossible to the One who created the stars and every creature in the earth. “Nothing is impossible” is a huge mindset shift and a game changer. It is My glory to astonish you with My vastness, to astound you with My goodness and to blow your mind with My limitlessness. I Am holy, be therefore holy.

14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, 15 but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;16 because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

1 Peter 1:14-15

Pursue Me first. Put Me first. Seek Me first, and all else will be added to you. The impossible will be made possible for you. The truth will set men free whom you never thought could be made free. The bounty of My blessing, My goodness and My unending fountain of love will be poured out in your life. Truly it already is being poured out, but you must attune your heart and eyes to see it, to receive it, to percieve it.

31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:31-34

Seek Me first, and you will see My handiwork everywhere. You will hear My whispers throughout your day, decisions and planning. Seek Me first, and you will find Me. I will reveal Myself to you in ways that will blow your mind and change your heart, eyes and spiritual sight forever. I love you. It is My glory to reveal to you My glory and My glorious ways. Seek ye first My Kingdom, and all else will be added to you, My dearly loved one.

How to Respond

  • Determine to make seeking the Lord your top priority each day.
  • Pray, Lord help me to see the areas where I need to shift priorities, where I need to clean up my habits, mindset and ways of operating. Show me how to live in purity, in holiness and in pursuit of You.
  • Declare, the Lord is revealing Himself, His glory and His limitless love for His people. He is showing us that nothing is impossible with Him, the Creator of all.
  • Decree, I will pursue the Lord, seek the Lord and live in reverence before the Lord. I desire purity in my innermost parts, and I will prioritize the Lord as first in my life. I will seek to be holy as He is holy.
