6 Seek the Lord Yahweh when he makes himself approachable;
Isaiah 55:6-7
call upon him when you sense he is near.
7 The wicked need to abandon their ways,
and sinful ones need to banish every evil thought.
Let them return to Yahweh,
and they will experience his compassionate mercy.
Yes, let them return to God,
for he will lavish forgiveness upon them.
The Lord says,
Many of My people are dancing with the stranger. Many of My people have sided with the stranger and have chosen the stranger while blaming Me for their heartbreak, their loneliness, and the consequences of moral failures in their lives. It’s time for My people to wake up. It’s time for My people to to take responsibility for their own choices and actions, failures and sins and restore their connection and relationship with Me. Stop wallowing in sin. Stop languishing in depression, immortality, despair and desperation. You are a child of the Most High King. What are you doing? Put off these worldly ways. Put off these lesser ways. The media lies to you when they tell you that you can live like the world and find fulfillment. You cannot. You will not!
3 Who, then, is allowed to ascend the mountain of Yahweh?
Psalm 24:3-4
And who has the privilege of entering into God’s Holy Place?
4 Those who are clean—whose works and ways are pure,
whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth,
those who never deceive, whose words are sure.
Come. Purify yourself. Back out of every unrighteous contract. Cut ties from every dirty partner. Remove yourself from so-called friends who drag you into filthy choices, coarse talk and wrong situations. This is a time for purity. If you want life and light, restoration and joy; if you want healing and wholeness, purpose and destiny, get out of the pig pen. Come home. Remove yourself from these wicked situations and and people, and reach out for My hand. It is outstretched and waiting for you. I Am running toward you even now. But you have to choose to leave this old life behind. It’s your choice. That’s how this works. That’s how I work.
10 God designed us to feel remorse over sin in order to produce repentance that leads to victory. This leaves us with no regrets. But the sorrow of the world works death.
2 Corinthians 7:10
Life with Me is a clear and holy revelation of your identity. Life with Me is full of light and hope, purpose and compassion. Life with Me is everlasting. Life with Me leaves no residue of guilt or remorse on your heart. Stop dancing with evil. Stop toying with the ways of the world. Satan is prowling around like a lion waiting for whom he may devour, and you make yourself a prey when you open the door to sin. Shut those doors, and come live the wide open spacious life, the life of freedom from all of the filth and decay, the self-inflicted wounds and the damaging self-talk. Come to light, life, abundance, forgiveness and a clean slate every day. That’s what s waiting for you when you cut ties with the stranger, the adversary, and you step toward repentance in humility with childlike faith and an outstretched hand. I will meet you. And I will never leave you.
Beloved ones, with promises like these, and because of our deepest respect and worship of God, we must remove everything from our lives that contaminates body and spirit, and continue to complete the development of holiness within us.
2 Corinthians 7:1
This is a call to purity. This is a call to leave old lifestyles behind. This is a call to remove the lesser things from your life — the tv shows, movies, songs and voices that plant impure seeds, negative ideas, and immoral behavior in your soul. Weed these out of your garden. Plant instead holiness and love. Plant the seeds that will bear the fruit of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self- control. These are the fruits of My lovers. These are the fruits of the changed ones who have left the old lives and old ways, old thoughts and old conversations behind. They have traded them for up higher living. They have traded them for life giving seeds.
How to Respond
- Stop and take a look at your life. Are there any areas that you have not yielded to the Lord?
- Give every aspect of your life to the Lord. Ask for forgiveness in the areas you have held back, and see the change in fruit that comes as a result.
- Clear out any inputs that are seeding immoral ideas, coarse talk and promoting sin. Ask the Lord to help you fill these with life-giving, holiness producing inputs.
- Bless the Lord. Thank Him for His faithfulness and for loving us so much that He always wants us in unbroken communion with Him.
