Psalm 90
“Let the sunrise of your love end our dark night. Break through our clouded dawn again! Only you can satisfy our hearts, filling us with songs of joy to the end of our days.”
Psalms 90:14 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
This is a time to be in awe of My mysterious, miraculous moves. I’m entering through the back door of your past. I will turn messy pasts into testimonies of blessing. I Am turning things around — things that seemed hopeless, dead and gone, things that seemed to be put on a shelf and forgotten will suddenly sprout to beautiful, unexpected life, right in your midst — right in front of you. I Am robbing the graves of abandoned and dead dreams, of hope deferred, of businesses and relationships destroyed. I Am robbing those graves and bringing out great treasure, great life and laying them out in front of you to claim. A new baton will be given to you. What was dead will now be alive, will be possible, and the baton will be suddenly be put in your right hand to run with. Where you had been toiling in one direction, you will suddenly be given a baton of former dreams, and you will be compelled to run with that newly resurrected dream.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight. Let us see your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders you’re famous for.”
Psalms 90:15-16 TPT
I will send you partners to run with. This isn’t like the old season of toiling for your dreams alone and watching them die alone. This will be a team sport, though you will have your own responsibility to run and to run hard. This is a time of great individual responsibility and opportunity as well as team opportunity and possibility. I have brought teams together, and I Am continuing to build teams to run this dream race, this resurrected dream race. Hope deferred will be stomped out with every strike of your foot on the racetrack. Hope deferred will be put down quickly as you take up this baton and crush it with your obedience to run.
Great upheaval will come in the midst of the race. Do not be distracted by it. It will not impede your progress as long as you keep your eyes on the race track and keep your legs moving. As long as you keep the baton of that resurrected dream firmly in your right hand, I will not permit the upheaval, this great widespread upheaval to deter you, to slow you down or to steal the dream from your right hand.
“O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us. Come work with us, and then our works will endure; you will give us success in all we do.”
Psalms 90:17 TPT
Yours is a race to continue through great widespread, even global upheaval. I have put this assignment in your right hand, and it is of vital importance that you do not drop it, stall or get distracted by what you see. Your voice, your run, your race is important. It must keep moving in the time of great unrest, uncertainty and upheaval. Do not be drawn out of your lane or off the track, and do not slow your pace. Keep running faithfully, and great will be your reward. Grace will reward you as you run. Faith will reward you as you run. This may not be a race with a finish line. This may be a lifelong race. Rewards will be given along the way and sometimes showered for entire seasons. Run the race of your resurrected dream. You will see it soon and unexpectedly placed in your right hand.
How to Respond
- Live in expectation and in awareness of the presence and move of God.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Move in unexpected, mysterious and miraculous ways. Resurrect dreams that are so dead I can’t even remember them. Bring to life what has seemed hopeless and give me a race to run that destroys hope deferred once and for all in my life. Show me who my team is if it is unclear to me. I am ready to receive the baton of that resurrected dream in my right hand. I will run with great determination and obedience with it.
- Declare, the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He moves in mysterious and miraculous ways. He has triumphed over sin, death and the grave. Nothing is impossible for King Jesus. He is the Lord of the resurrection. He is Lord of All.
- Decree, I will see dead dreams, relationships and businesses springing into new life, new opportunity, new possibility unexpectedly right before my eyes. The Lord will place a baton of purpose, of resurrected dreams in my right hand. I will receive it. I will firmly grasp it, and I will run with it in obedience, in grace and in faith. I will not be deterred, drawn off track or distracted. I will be faithful to the call. I will work in great favor with the team designated by the Lord, and I will receive rewards along the way. I am prepared for this to be a lifelong race.
