Today’s Reading:
Psalm 68

“O huge, magnificent mountain, you are the mighty kingdom of God! All the other peaks, though impressive and imposing, look with envy on you, Mount Zion! For Zion is the mountain where God has chosen to live forever. Look! The mighty chariots of God! Ten thousands upon ten thousands, more than anyone could ever number. God is at the front, leading them all from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary with the radiance of holiness upon him. He ascends into the heavenly heights, taking his many captured ones with him, leading them in triumphal procession. And gifts were given to men, even the once rebellious, so that they may dwell with Yah. What a glorious God! He gives us salvation over and over, then daily he carries our burdens! Pause in his presence”

Psalms‬ ‭68:15-19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
I’m tipping the scales in your favor. I’m tipping the scales dramatically in your favor. The days of fighting from the back foot are through. This is a time of aggressive, relentless offense. It has been like the offense has been sitting on the bench this whole time, and the defense has been in the game holding the line. Well, the time has come. I’m calling the offense off of the bench and putting them into the game. The scales are tipping dramatically in your favor, and it will be time to run like a bulldozer. It will be time to aggressively and relentlessly take ground — never slowing, never stopping, never backing down — not giving one inch or relenting for one moment in the face of evil. It is time for the offense to come onto the field and mow them down, push them out.

“Our God is a mighty God who saves us over and over! For the Lord, Yahweh, rescues us from the ways of death many times. But he will crush every enemy, shattering their strength. He will make heads roll for they refuse to repent of their stubborn, sinful ways. I hear the Lord God saying to all the enemies of his people, “You’d better come out of your hiding places, all of you who are doing your best to stay far away from me. Don’t you know there’s no place to hide? For my people will be the conquerors; they will soon have you under their feet. They will crush you until there is nothing left!””

Psalms‬ ‭68:20-23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is a time of aggressive, offensive-led change. It’s time to push bad players off of the field. They have played out of bounds all this time anyway. It’s time to eject them from the game. The tables are turning with lawfare. The hunters and the aggressors are now the prey. Those foxes and wolves who have plundered and stolen will be caught in traps of their own making. The wrap-up smear will be exposed for what it is, criminal conspiracy, and all whose hands touched it knowingly and willingly will fall. They set their own traps, and the time for the traps to snap shut in aggressive and unforgiving fashion is here. When it comes to evil, when it comes to vulgar, when it comes to wicked and reprehensible, show no mercy. How many times did I command my people to finish the battle, to cleanse the land of the wicked and when they relented, when they showed mercy, when greed was involved the result was long-term problems for themselves and down through the generations?

“Make music for the one who strides the ancient skies. Listen to his thunderous voice of might split open the heavens. Give it up for God, for he alone has all the strength and power! Proclaim his majesty! For his glory shines down on Israel. His mighty strength soars in the clouds of glory. God, we are consumed with awe, trembling before you as your glory streams from your Holy Place. The God of power shares his mighty strength with Israel and with all his people. God, we give our highest praise to you!”

Psalms‬ ‭68:33-35‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Show no mercy to evil. It must be purged from the lands. This is a time of aggressive, offensive change. This is a time where purity and holiness begin to take the center stage. Remove the vile with aggressive force. Evil cannot be party to a negotiation, nor can acceptable compromise be made for it. Only truth. Only righteousness. Vulgarity and wickedness have no place. Your job as the aggressive offense who has the scales of My favor strongly tipped in their direction — you must force out wickedness and accept nothing less. I’m putting the offense on the field. I’m giving you the ball. Run with it, and do not relent. I Am with you to win every victory, every play. Yours is the victory in Me. In Me. With Me, every victory is yours.

How to Respond

  • Respond to the Lord’s call to stop playing defense and start playing offense. Ask Him for strategy and instruction on what that looks like in your life and sphere.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that You are tipping the scales strongly in our favor. Thank You for moving us from a time of continual defense to a time of unrelenting offense. Strengthen us. Encourage us. Infuse us with Your strength and holy zeal. Let us take tremendous and astounding ground in this season. Thank You that the tables are turning on lawfare against the wicked. Thank You that the aggressors and the hunters are becoming the prey. Help us to wield the truth as a weapon and eject them from the game.
  • Declare, this is a season of aggressive offensive change. The Lord is charging us to take ground and not relent. He has empowered us to take many victories. In Him, through Him and with Him, every victory is ours.
  • Decree, I will change my position and my strategy. I will move from defense to offense. I will capitalize on the scales tipping strongly in my favor. I will aggressively and relentlessly be on the offensive to push out wickedness and evil and to promote the cause of the Lord for holiness, purity, righteousness and justice. The wicked will not prevail. They will be ejected from the game. In the Lord, I will experience every victory.
