”Three times I pleaded with the Lord to relieve me of this. But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power.“
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Keep going. I will lift you. I will strengthen your heart, your spirit and your bones. Keep going. Stand up straight. You are a man, not an ape. Call to mind My faithfulness.
”Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace. In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.“
Ephesians 6:14-18 TPT
Put on the full armor of God. Put on that helmet of salvation, and protect your mind from intruding thoughts, from enemy onslaught. Put on the breastplate of righteousness, and protect your heart, your vitality, your hopes and your faith. Put on the belt of truth, and move forward in truth. Discern truth. Continually choose truth, and discard anything else. Put on the shoes of the gospel of peace and be one who brings, who carries, who is sent with the good news of the Gospel of the Kingdom and the transformative peace I have brought to your own soul. Pick up the shield of faith, and extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy, his onslaught of lies, his attacks of doubt that sound like this, “did God really say?” His attacks on your person, your character, your health, your freedom. Extinguish them. Shield yourself from them with your unwavering faith in Me that is buttressed by the Word of God. The Word of God in you is the structure upon which faith hangs. It propels the Sword of the Spirit, defending you and going on offense as I lead. You will be guided by My Word inside of you. You can go forth and conquer as you follow and speak the promptings of My Spirit.
”Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.“
Ephesians 6:10-13 TPT
Know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Where the Spirit of the Lord reigns, there is freedom. Put on your armor daily and equip more warriors. You cannot be going out into battle without it. Ensure those under your charge and those in your circles are equipped for the battle that surrounds. The battle is here. It is already well upon us. Don’t be taken out by being unaware. Suit up, and be on high alert. I have given you everything you need for success and overcoming. I have made you for victory and to conquer. The enemy’s house is built on sinking sand. I have given you the high ground and the firm foundation. Stand upon it. Advance upon it.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord. Keep building your faith and seeking the Lord. Put on the full armor of God daily.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Show me how to live and advance in this war season, in this midst of the battle that surrounds me. I want to be a warrior who is undeterred by what I see. I want to advance in faith at the sound of Your voice, at Your prompting regardless of what the situation looks like.
- Declare, the Lord my God is the God of Angel Armies. He goes before me. He is my rear guard and my wraparound shield. Whom or what shall I fear?
- Decree, I will put on the full armor of God daily. I will advance upon the firm foundation of Christ Jesus. I will speak the words He puts in my heart, and I will go to the places He calls me to go. I will advance against the enemy with truth, faith and love. And I will see conquering victory. I will see justice. I will see the people of the Lord win.
