Today’s Reading:
Luke 12
Proverbs 13
Psalm 73
”If I had given in to my pain and spoken of what I was really feeling, it would have sounded like unfaithfulness to the next generation. When I tried to understand it all, I just couldn’t. It was too puzzling—too much of a riddle to me. But then one day I was brought into the sanctuaries of God, and in the light of glory, my distorted perspective vanished. Then I understood that the destiny of the wicked was near! They’re the ones who are on the slippery path, and God will suddenly let them slide off into destruction to be consumed with terrors forever! It will be an instant end to all their life of ease; a blink of the eye and they’re swept away by sudden calamity! They’re all nothing more than momentary monarchs— soon to disappear like a dream when one awakes. When the rooster crows, Lord God, you’ll despise their life of fantasies.“
Psalms 73:15-20 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Truth is rushing in and rising like great flood waters. The time you have been waiting for is here. The tipping point time. The turnaround time. The overturning time. The warnings have come. The foretellings have come. The opportunities for confession and repentance have come. And now the day and time of reconciling accounts has come. I Am reconciling the accounts of the wicked, and they are found overdue and short. They have stolen from and shorted Me and My peoples, the sheep of My pasture, and now their accounts are past due.
”Calamity chases the sin-chaser, but prosperity pursues the God-lover. The benevolent man leaves an inheritance that endures to his children’s children, but the wealth of the wicked is treasured up for the righteous. The lovers of God will live a long life and get to enjoy their wealth, but the ungodly will suddenly perish.“
Proverbs 13:21-23 TPT
I Am rising up as the repo man, and I will repossess what the enemy has stolen. I will reap for My people and My house what the enemy has stolen and gained and plundered. I will repossess it. I will reap it, and I will gather a great bounty from the hands and the coffers of the wicked. A great hush, a great silence will come over the Earth when they see the wicked plundered and laid bare. Then the whole Earth will breathe a collective sight of relief, even as they look on in stunned disbelief, because the fortunes of the enemy were vast. They extended farther and deeper than any one person knew. Every last coin will be extracted, removed and taken from their hands and the storehouses of evil which were built with evil intent. They will be like the rich man who seeing the bounty of his harvest built another barn, yet I said to him, today your life is required. Wicked storehouses built by man’s hands for evil purposes will no longer serve their purposes, and many will be burnt to the ground.
”Jesus then gave them this illustration: “A wealthy land owner had a farm that produced bumper crops. Every year the harvest was so great it filled his barns to overflowing! He thought, ‘What should I do now that every barn is full and I have nowhere else to store more? I know what I’ll do! I’ll tear down the barns and build one massive barn to hold all my grain and goods. Then I can just sit back, surrounded with comfort and ease. I’ll enjoy life with no worries at all.’ “God said to him, ‘What a fool you are to trust in your riches and not in me! This very night the messengers of death will demand to take your life. Then who will get all the wealth you have stored up for yourself?’ The same thing will happen to all those who fill up their lives with everything but God.”“
Luke 12:16-21 TPT
The day of My accounting has come. I will no longer tolerate the thieving and marginalization tactics of the wicked. The day of accounting has come. Keep your hands clean, and keep your accounts short and paid.
How to Respond
- Be quick and fully obedient to respond to the instruction of the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. We have longed for and prayed for the day of Your great accounting of the wicked. Do as You have said Lord. Plunder the wicked and restore to us all that the enemy has stolen plus seven fold. We desire that none remain in the camp of the wicked. So we pray that any who will turn, even at this late hour, would repent and confess and hide themselves in the forgiveness of King Jesus.
- Declare, the Lord determines the times and seasons. Even though the Lord has let us sink down with trials and troubles, He is reviving us and restoring us to even more greatness than before.
- Decree, I will see the Lord bring judgement to the wicked and plunder their storehouses. I will see Him repossess all that they have stolen and gained, and He will restore all to His people with interest. He will decimate the coffers of the wicked, so there is nothing left, not even one coin.
