Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 1-2

21 How the faithful city has become a harlot,
She who was full of justice!
Righteousness once lodged in her,
But now murderers.
22 Your silver has become dross,
Your drink diluted with water.
23 Your rulers are rebels
And companions of thieves;
Everyone loves a bribe
And chases after rewards.
They do not defend the orphan,
Nor does the widow’s plea come before them.24 Therefore the Lord God of hosts,
The Mighty One of Israel, declares,
“Ah, I will be relieved of My adversaries
And avenge Myself on My foes.
25 “I will also turn My hand against you,
And will smelt away your dross as with lye
And will remove all your alloy.
26 “Then I will restore your judges as at the first,
And your counselors as at the beginning;
After that you will be called the city of righteousness,
A faithful city.”

Isaiah 1:21-26

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My justice is around the corner. It will sneak up like a thief, like a flash flood; and My justice will wash over this nation in a powerful, unrelenting way. The joy and the fear that comes with My justice will reveal the hearts and deeds of men. The cheering section for My justice will be vast, tremendous, and its ranks will grow every day. Many who started out on the wrong side, cheering for the wrong team will change sides as the evidence is brought forth. The disgust on the hearts of those who had long chosen the wrong team will cause them great personal embarrassment, but their heart’s cry for justice will exceed the embarrassment. Their desire for vindication, for justice will greatly overwhelm and overtake any embarrassment for wrong thinking, wrong shouting and wrong cheering.

27 Zion will be redeemed with justice
And her repentant ones with righteousness.
28 But transgressors and sinners will be crushed together,
And those who forsake the Lord will come to an end.
29 Surely you will be ashamed of the oaks which you have desired,
And you will be embarrassed at the gardens which you have chosen.
30 For you will be like an oak whose leaf fades away
Or as a garden that has no water.
31 The strong man will become tinder,
His work also a spark.
Thus they shall both burn together
And there will be none to quench them.

Isaiah 1:27-31

The scales of good against evil, the balance of the two will be heavily, heavily, heavily in favor of good and justice, and the minority will be shown by their disrepute. Dark hearts and defilement will mark those who rail against My justice. They wear masks of deception and paint their faces to obscure truth. Though this small group of dark hearted ones are railing against justice for others, the flood of justice will overtake them too. The darkness of their hearts and the depth of their depravity will be obvious to all who look on because of their protests on behalf of the wicked.

Once bad actors will switch sides. You will see what it means to be saved as if snatched out of the fire. Some will escape justice, but the fear of the Lord and the fear of judgement will overtake them so deeply, it will grip them with such strength, that they repent, they self disclose, they run to the right side, and their turnaround is public and true. The fear of the Lord will fall so heavily on the people that all hearts will be laid bare.

2 Now it will come about that
In the last days
The mountain of the house of the Lord
Will be established as the chief of the mountains,
And will be raised above the hills;
And all the nations will stream to it.
3 And many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For the law will go forth from Zion
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.
5
Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Isaiah 2:2-5

Men will greatly desire to approach My holy mountain. The desire for My presence will be so strong that commerce will cease. Trading will cease, and millions upon millions upon millions will bow in awe, in wonder and in rapt worship. They will lift holy clean hands in thanksgiving and deep, deep gratitude to their King, their Savior, Jesus; and the Name of Jesus will be made famous throughout the Earth. A gentleness will overtake the land such as has not been seen or felt before, because the fear of the Lord, the presence of the Lord and alignment with the Word and will of the Lord has come. It will be a great sober time of holy deference, and life will change for good. It will start with My flood of justice. Justice will usher in repentance, the fear of the Lord and then deep abiding peace.

How to Respond

  • Keep your heart, mind, hands and mouth clean before the Lord. Pursue purity.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Let Your justice come like a flash flood that surprises and overtakes the wicked. Lord, we long to see Your justice, and we greatly desire a greater measure of Your Presence. Come Lord. Let it be as You have said. Bring Your justice.
  • Declare, the Lord’s flash flood of justice is just around the corner.
  • Decree, America will experience a tremendous flash flood of the Lord’s justice. I will experience this justice in my life too. The justice of the Lord will bring a great awareness of the Lord and a weighty and appropriate fear of the Lord will fall on the entire nation. The Lord’s justice will bring awe, repentance, wholesale change, worship and a deep, deep peace that this nation has never known.
