Today’s Readings:
Psalm 128
Mark 4
22 For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light.
Mark 4:22
The Lord says,
The blinding light of My truth is breaking forth. This is the dawning of a new day. This is the bursting forth of a new season, of harvest. Harvest time is here, and that means reaping. The grains are heavy on the stalks. I Am the Lord of the harvest, and I Am indeed leading this one. This one is an epic harvest. This is a history making harvest. It’s a harvest of hearts. This is the harvest that has produced the contents of hearts. The harvest is revealing what has been inside of hearts, and it is bringing the reward for those contents.
26 And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; 27 and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he himself does not know.28 The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.29 But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
Mark 4:26-29
The seeds that were cultivated in hearts and have been germinating and sprouting are now bearing fruit — for better and for worse, resulting from good and from evil. This is the harvest of the content of hearts. This is the harvest of two harvests, the result of personal plantings. Like what is in the ground, what is in one’s heart is not always knowable or visible to the outside world, but harvest time is when the truth of these seeds bears fruit, bears witness and exposes the nature of the seed. True natures are being exposed and revealed. The interior of hearts is being made known, and the light of my truth is bearing down on it all.
128 How blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,
Psalm 128:1-4
Who walks in His ways.
2 When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands,
You will be happy and it will be well with you.
3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
Within your house,
Your children like olive plants
Around your table.
4 Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed
Who fears the Lord.
Joy, delight, surprise, fulfillment and completion will be the fruit for many. For others, decay, degeneracy, immorality and filth will bear their stinking fruit for all to see. You have heard it said that actions have consequences, so too do the decisions and beliefs that are planted in hearts. The clarifying light of My truth will reveal it all. There will be celebrations and there will be justice. There will be glory hallelujahs and there will be open shame. Actions have consequences, and the seeds planted purposefully in hearts are bearing fruit.
How to Respond
- Examine yourself before the Lord. Ask Him to reveal any area of your heart and life that requires purifying and repentance. Submit those places to His healing, grace and transformation.
- Pray, Lord, make me to be one with clean hands and a pure heart. Thank You for bringing us into a time of promises fulfilled and dreams coming true. Thank You for exposing the evil that needs to be brought to light. Thank You for Your perfect justice.
- Declare, our God is the Lord of the Harvest. His ways are perfect, and He has brought us into these new days of harvest where we will see justice for all.
- Decree,
I will rejoice in the harvest of the Lord.
I will see miracles, surprises, answers and opportunities arise.
I will see justice done for the innocent and the wicked.
I will stand on the side of truth, purity and celebration.
