Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 65
2 “I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people,
Isaiah 65:2-6
Who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts,
3 A people who continually provoke Me to My face,
Offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on bricks;
4 Who sit among graves and spend the night in secret places;
Who eat swine’s flesh,
And the broth of unclean meat is in their pots.
5 “Who say, ‘Keep to yourself, do not come near me,
For I am holier than you!’
These are smoke in My nostrils,
A fire that burns all the day.
6 “Behold, it is written before Me,
I will not keep silent, but I will repay;
I will even repay into their bosom,
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My justice clock is ticking. My arm is now outstretched. It’s harvest time. This is the harvest of the ages. This is a harvest of seeds sown for good or for evil, for better or for worse. The harvest is near, and the harvest is here.
For those who plotted evil, for those whose words were drenched with wickedness, lies, slander, destruction — the harvest of the seeds sown by their mouths and orders is rising. For those who were the henchmen, who followed wicked orders and laid out evil plots, their harvest is rising. For those who financed and brought enablement to bring wicked deeds, evil plans and even wars, the harvest of what you have sown has risen.
13 Therefore, thus says the Lord God,
Isaiah 65:13-16
“Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry.
Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty.
Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.
14 “Behold, My servants will shout joyfully with a glad heart,
But you will cry out with a heavy heart,
And you will wail with a broken spirit.
15 “You will leave your name for a curse to My chosen ones,
And the Lord God will slay you.
But My servants will be called by another name.
16 “Because he who is blessed in the earth
Will be blessed by the God of truth;
And he who swears in the earth
Will swear by the God of truth;
Because the former troubles are forgotten,
And because they are hidden from My sight!
For those whose hearts are broken by the evil and the wickedness that you see, for those whose words bring life and healing, bring grace and family, your harvest has risen. For those who reach out to gather in the outcasts, for those whose finances go out to touch the broken, the lost, the thirsty, the hungry and the oppressed, your gifts have risen up as a beautiful offering of incense lavishly poured out before Me. Your harvest has risen. For those who have sacrificed to save others from darkness and the pit, your harvest has risen. For those whose lives are marked with hunger, obedience and intimacy with Me, your harvest has risen.
I Am sending forth My reaping angels. They are putting sickle to the stalks now, and harvest has come. Harvest will come, and storehouses will reflect the harvest you have sown — for better or worse, for good or for evil, for theft or for mercy. It’s come.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, thank You for Your justice. Thank You that You are the God of justice and mercy in perfect measure. Thank You that You see everyone, every heart, every deed and every event. Thank You that Your time of harvest has come. Lord, I long to see the wicked held accountable. It feels long overdue. And Lord, I long to see those who have sacrificed to be a blessing reap a great reward on Earth. Thank You Lord. You are so gracious and perfect in every way.
- Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. Justice and vengeance come perfectly from the hand of the Lord.
- Decree, I will see the wicked held accountable. I will see justice flood America and the nations and families of the Earth. This is a harvest season. This is a justice season, and the Lord’s reaping angels are out on assignment now delivering harvests.
