Today’s Readings:
Habakkuk 1-2
Isaiah 35

35 The wilderness and the desert will be glad,
And the Arabah will rejoice and blossom;
Like the crocus
2 It will blossom profusely
And rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
The majesty of Carmel and Sharon.
They will see the glory of the Lord,
The majesty of our God.

Isaiah 35:1-2

The Lord says,
Resurrection is here. Joy is here. Celebration and advancement are here. Bright days are here. New abundant life is springing forth. I Am causing beautiful life to spring forth in this desert place, in this wilderness, in this barren land. Soon pure and honest life will be teeming all around you. It will spring up overnight. I’m talking about justice. Justice causes stagnant and struggling ones to thrive. Justice reinvigorates life and gives fresh vision and hope for the future. Justice is like a shot of destiny and joy in the arm. Justice resurrects dreams, hopes, ambitions and long forgotten, abandoned plans.

1 The oracle which Habakkuk the prophet saw.
2
How long, O Lord, will I call for help,
And You will not hear?
I cry out to You, “Violence!”
Yet You do not save.
3 Why do You make me see iniquity,
And cause me to look on wickedness?
Yes, destruction and violence are before me;
Strife exists and contention arises.
4 Therefore the law is ignored
And justice is never upheld.
For the wicked surround the righteous;
Therefore justice comes out perverted.

Habakkuk 1:1-4

I will cause justice to sprout up around you like a jungle springing forth in the wilderness. It will be surprising, delightful and unfamiliar. It will require you to think and behave and operate differently than you did in the barren place. It will force you to get out of a poverty mindset. Where water was once scare, it will now be abundant. Where vegetation and relief from the burning sun was lacking, there is now a luxurious canopy over your head. Where you had to scrape and struggle to be fed, wild abundant fruit will grow freely on the vine. This is the sort of wholesale change that My introduction and resurrection of justice will bring to the land. It will change everything.

5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened
And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.
6 Then the lame will leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy.
For waters will break forth in the wilderness
And streams in the Arabah.
7 The scorched land will become a pool
And the thirsty ground springs of water;
In the haunt of jackals, its resting place,
Grass becomes reeds and rushes.
8 A highway will be there, a roadway,
And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for him who walks that way,
And fools will not wander on it.

Isaiah 35:5-8

Those who were hunters in the desert will become hunted in the jungle of My justice. Those who oppressed, harassed, undermined and persecuted My pure ones in the wilderness place will find themselves the targets of the newly awakened ones in My jungle of justice. These ones who have survived the wilderness and have overcome every obstacle will find their wild hearts relish the opportunity to track down, hunt and remove these predators from the beautiful place of justice I have made for them. Every predator, every parasite, every screeching hyena and howling coyote will be tracked down, will be rounded up and will be removed from the beautiful, luscious jungle of My favor, abundance and justice.

3 “For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

Habakkuk 2:3

Freedom will mark this place that is teeming with life, diversity and beauty. And My Lion King will rule over this jungle of justice. He and His pride — all the beautiful wild ones in the land — will fiercely guard and protect the magnificent land that I have restored and resurrected from the wilderness. We are walking into days of new, of celebration, of uncharted territory and unfamiliar landscape. Trust that I will transform this lifeless wilderness into a sprawling glorious jungle before your very eyes. I will do it.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord.
  • Daydream with the Lord about the future — about your hopes, desires, promises and plans. Remind Him of them and ask for His justice in your life.
  • Pray, Lord, bring justice to me and my family. Bring justice to America and to the world. We are walking in dark times and cannot overcome them without You.
  • Declare, the Lord is resurrecting America. He is restoring justice and causing the hunters and the persecutors to become the hunted. He is bringing us into a land of life, possibility and abundance.
  • Decree, the Lord is causing justice to be resurrected in the land.
    He is causing this dry and barren place to become a place of life, freedom and delight.
    Those who have been persecutors, parasites, predators, mockers and evildoers will find themselves as the targets of the hunt. They will be rounded up and removed from this newly resurrected jungle of justice.
    Freedom will reign and fruitfulness and abundance will mark America.
    The Lord has put it in the heart of His people and His Lion King to fiercely protect the resurrected America.
