Today’s Reading:
2 Chronicles 20
James 1
John 10

And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed.”

2 Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust in the Lord your God and you shall be established. Believe in the Lord’s prophets and you shall prosper. This is the key to runaway prosperity. These are the keys to runaway success. Doing these evidences your faith. It reveals your faith. Trust in Me with an unshakeable trust. Trust that I guide you, that I prompt you, that I instruct you and that I whisper in your ear. Trust that I make divine connections for your benefit and for My Kingdom’s sake. Trust in me with an unshakeable trust. Trust My character. Trust that I Am who I say I Am and I’m doing what I said I would do. Trust that I keep My promises, and that My Word is even elevated above My Name. I mean what I say, and I do what I say. I will not fail. I never fail, never lie, never lose, never miss the mark, never come up shy, never run dry. I Am the God of yes and amen. I Am the Lord whose government is ever expanding and whose kingdom is one of always more than enough, of fantastic super abundant supply.

Don’t just listen to the Word of Truth and not respond to it, for that is the essence of self-deception. So always let his Word become like poetry written and fulfilled by your life!

James (Jacob)‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Believe in My prophets and you will succeed. Believe in the ones with a track record. Believe in the ones whose voice reveals their love for Me. Believe in the ones who are not in the spotlight for their names’s sake. Believe in the ones whose lives evidence unwavering trust in Me — the ones who keep their head close to My chest, the ones whose life is marked with a paid price. Believe in these prophets, and you will succeed.

Belief is expressed by action. To say you trust is one thing but inaction will reveal that you are lying. To say you believe is one thing but not moving forward in that reveals disbelief, reveals mistrust. It reveals double-mindedness. To walk with Me is to get to know Me. To trust in Me is to do what I say. To believe in the prophets requires you to pursue the voice of and the word of the prophets. But to prosper as a result of the word of the prophets requires action.

A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!

John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭TPT‬

Trust and belief require faith, and faith without works is dead. The enemy comes to bring death. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. But I come to bring life and life more abundant. Life more abundant requires faith. Faith is the fruit of trust and belief. True faith demands action; and action and work are the evidence of faith.

This is the key to prosperity.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord help me to be not only a hearer of Your Word but a doer. I want to be one whose heart is overflowing with faith, because I know You are always speaking, moving, guiding and instructing. I am not rudderless. I can trust in You. I can believe Your prophets. And acting on those words will bring me prosperity in all aspects of my life.
  • Declare, I will trust in the Lord and He will assure me and establish me. I will believe in His prophets and the action I take based on that belief will cause my life to prosper. – adapted from 2 Chronicles 20:20
  • Declare, The Name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe – Psalm 18:10
  • Decree, I release my need for control and logical understanding. I choose instead to walk by faith and not by sight. I choose to trust the Lord with all my mind, heart, soul and strength and demonstrate that with action. I choose to believe in the Lord’s true prophets. And that belief will be reflected by my actions which will cause every aspect of my life to be marked by prosperity.
