Psalm 52-57
Isaiah 29
5 Then suddenly, in an instant, your ruthless enemies
Isaiah 29:5-7
will become nothing more than dust in the wind
and your vile tyrants like wind-driven chaff!
6 She will be visited by the Lord Yahweh,
Commander of Angel Armies,
with thunder, earthquake, and deafening noise,
with whirlwind, tempest, and the blaze of a consuming fire!
7 As quickly as a fading dream or as fleeting as a vision of the night,
so will all the vast hordes of all the nations fade away
and all who war against Ariel and her fortress disappear.
The Lord says,
It’s Resurrection Season. The Earth, the soil, the ground is stirring and trembling even now. Can you feel your heart swelling with anticipation, with joy, with My love?
Today is the day to lift your voice with a shout of triumph and a voice of praise. Victory is in the air. A great overturning is in the air. Incredible sudden transformation is in the air. Change is at the doorstep. Give a shout of victory! Roar with a mighty war cry that forces darkness to flee!
3 But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you
Psalm 56:3-4
and trust in you with all my heart.
4 What harm could a man bring to me?
With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes.
The roaring praises of God fill my heart
as I trust his promises.
Cultivate an atmosphere that pushes the darkness out from you, your home and your property. Give darkness no rest, no place to thrive like the parasite that it is. Force it out. Power wash your life with repentance and take covering under the All-Powerful Blood of Jesus. Give darkness no substrate to attach to and grow on in your life or home. Force it out with songs of worship, a heart that is pure and an ear that is inclined toward Me.
8 But I am like a flourishing olive tree, anointed in the house of God.
Psalm 52:8
I trust in the unending love of God;
his passion toward me is forever and ever.
Can you hear the drum beat? Can you sense the cadence picking up? Can you see the wind and the tide shifting? Can you hear it on the wind? Change. Change. Change. The momentum has not only picked up, but it has moved into a great powerful unstoppable acceleration of the change, change, change before you. Can you feel hope rising? Yes, there might be a sliver of uncertainty and hesitation in your heart. Don’t magnify it. Push it aside and and cling to hope, to the promise of new life, to the certainty of the wrecking ball of change that is swinging onto the scene even now. You can see it. You can sense it.
2 I will cry out to you, the God of the highest heaven,
Psalm 57:2-3
the mighty God, who performs all these wonders for me.
3 From heaven he will send a father’s help to save me.
He will trample down those who trample me.
Pause in his presence
He will always show me love
by his gracious and constant care.
The wrecking ball has started low and slow. It has taken out some small structures, but now it is picking up speed and momentum. It is going after bigger and bigger structures. My wrecking ball of change will clear the scene. Watch as it strikes and hits structure after man-made structure. My wrecking ball of change will cause chains to break open, will cause prisoners and captives to go free, will topple these structures of lies and oppression that have constrained and imprisoned the people.
17 Before you know it, Lebanon will be transformed
Isaiah 29:17-21
into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field will seem like a forest.
18 In that day the deaf will begin to hear
the words that have been written,
and out of the darkness and gloom,
the eyes of the blind will be opened to see.
19 The meek will overflow with fresh joy in the Lord Yahweh,
and the poor will shout their praises to the Holy One of Israel!
20 For the terrible one will be no more,
the scornful jester will not be found,
and all the lovers of evil will be cut off.
21 Those who make the innocent appear guilty,
those who ensnare others with deceitful tactics,
and those who lie to keep the innocent from getting justice
will likewise be destroyed.
My wrecking ball of change will make way for truth to bloom forth like a powerful shoot from the earth that quickly turns into a an impenetrable mighty white tower. Her beauty and her vast contrast to the dark and dingy structures surrounding her will cause many to be motivated to join the efforts of My wrecking ball of change. They will find themselves activated with bulldozers and bold, dogged strength of conviction to remove what remains from the scene, to clear the refuse of lies and smut and filth and corruption from the scene.
Once the rains of My cleansing and the bulldozers of the activated ones clear this refuse and garbage of lies, deceit and fraud from the scene, many new structures will sprout up around truth, made in the image of truth, with truth as their blueprint, their model and their shining light.
How to Respond
- Be on the side of truth.
- Get your heart and your house in order, so that you are positioned well for the sweeping changes just ahead.
- Declare, the Lord is sweeping away lies, filth, deceit, corruption and wickedness with His mighty wrecking ball of change. He will cause truth to rise and righteousness and justice to be re-established in the land.
- Declare, the Lord is using His wrecking ball of change to break the chains of bondage that have held the people in deception, torment and pain.
- Declare, the Lord is being transformation to my home and community, and I will take my place to join Him in dismantling and removing evil from the scene.
- Stir up hope, worship and anticipation in your heart.
