Isaiah 40
”A thunderous voice cries out in the wilderness: “Prepare the way for Yahweh’s arrival! Make a highway straight through the desert for our God! Every valley will be raised up, every mountain brought low. The rugged terrain will become level ground and the rough places a plain. Then Yahweh’s radiant glory will be unveiled, and all humanity will experience it together. Believe it, for Yahweh has spoken his decree!”“
Isaiah 40:3-5 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My flame is eternal. The flame I have placed in your heart is eternal. Let it burn. Keep your wick trimmed, and keep your oil in ready supply. This is the time for My burning ones to rise. Rise up in victory, because the victory has already been won. Rise up in passion, because your Savior has made a way where there was no way. Rise up in power, because the cords of death and the insatiable hunger of death have been broken. This is your time to rise up. This is your time to stand, to sing, to worship. This is your time to advance almost as if you had blinders on, because your narrow path is clear and marked out in front of you.
”Go up on a high mountain, you joyful messengers of Zion, and lift up your voices with power. You who proclaim joyous news to Jerusalem, shout it out and don’t be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!” Look! Here comes Lord Yahweh as a victorious warrior; he triumphs with his awesome power. Watch as he brings with him his reward and the spoils of victory to give to his people. He will care for you as a shepherd tends his flock, gathering the weak lambs and taking them in his arms. He carries them close to his heart and gently leads those that have young.“
Isaiah 40:9-11 TPT
This is a year for extraordinary advancement. This is a moment and time for power moves. You will see Me move in power, and you will see as I move you powerfully forward. Watch as I move with supernatural power on your behalf, and you get pushed forward perhaps faster than you think you should go, certainly faster than you ever imagined. This is a time to set your understanding and expectations of timelines aside, because I Am doing something mighty and different in this season of powerful advancement. I Am pushing you forward. Don’t try and slow walk it. Don’t try and say you are not ready. Don’t make excuses, and don’t try and sit there like a bag of bricks. I Am pushing you forward. I Am pushing you way out front, father out front than you are likely comfortable with. That’s okay. You will get comfortable with it. The only way to get comfortable with it is to go with it, and do the thing I’ve called you to do in the place and the way I have put in your heart.
”Why, then, O Jacob’s tribes, would you ever complain? And my chosen Israel, why would you say, “Yahweh isn’t paying attention to my situation. He has lost all interest in what happens to me”? Don’t you know? Haven’t you been listening? Yahweh is the one and only everlasting God, the Creator of all you can see and imagine! He never gets weary or worn out. His intelligence is unlimited; he is never puzzled over what to do! He empowers the feeble and infuses the powerless with increasing strength. Even young people faint and get exhausted; athletic ones may stumble and fall. But those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.“

You have felt like you have been between a rock and a hard place, and now you may feel like you are vulnerable, exposed and way far out front. That’s where I have put you for my purposes. Be out front. Stand up tall, boldly and courageously. I never leave nor forsake you. I Am the everlasting God. I have made this stream in the desert. I have made this path where there was no way. And I Am pushing you way out front, pushing you far forward, and your responsibility is to be bold and stand, and do the work I have put in your hands.
How to Respond
- Yield and submit to the Lord your God.
- Pray, Thank You Lord that Your ways, thoughts, plans and purposes are higher than mine. Thank You for directing the times and seasons of the world and of my life. Thank You for seeing me and for caring about the smallest details of my life. I yield and submit to Your hands, Your timing and Your plans. I will go wherever You lead or push. I will stand and do the work You have placed in my hands as You instruct and position me to do it.
- Declare, the Lord my God sits enthroned over the circle of the earth. He is the One who reduces rulers to nothing, who makes the judges of the earth meaningless. His timing and His ways are perfect and inscrutable. The Lord Most High leads the Host of Heaven and calls them all by name. Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing. He is the Everlasting God.
- Decree, I will yield and submit to wherever the Lord leads, pushes or places me. I will stand boldly, courageously with great passion for the Lord and do the work He has put in my hands to do.
