Acts 2
“Peter replied, “Repent and return to God, and each one of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus, the Anointed One, to have your sins removed. Then you may take hold of the gift of the Holy Spirit. For God’s promise of the Holy Spirit is for you and your families, for those yet to be born and for everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” Peter preached to them and warned them with these words: “Be rescued from the wayward and perverse culture of this world!” Those who believed the word that day numbered three thousand. They were all baptized and added to the church.”
Acts 2:38-41 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
You are set apart for service to your King. You are set apart as royal priests — as a priesthood of believers. My grace is on you for change. The way to you serve will change. The results you see will change. I Am shifting the very earth beneath your feet. I Am changing what you touch and see and call reality. I Am changing it before your eyes and underneath your very feet. These are days of tectonic change, and your service to Me will change. Your service in and to the body of believers and to the outside world will change. It’s a rocky season. It’s a volatile and unpredictable season. Hold onto the railings. I Am driving the ship. We are going to a new day and a new way where your service to Me will change. Your service to one another and to those outside the body of Christ will change. I’m reaffirming covenant.
“Every believer was faithfully devoted to following the teachings of the apostles. Their hearts were mutually linked to one another, sharing communion and coming together regularly for prayer. A deep sense of holy awe swept over everyone, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. All the believers were in fellowship as one body, and they shared with one another whatever they had.”
Acts 2:42-44 TPT
I’m reestablishing covenant, and connections will be sturdier and understood differently. Connections will be dependable, trustworthy and true. You will be able to trust the word of your brothers and sisters again; and you will become one whose service to Me is sturdy, strong and sure. I Am strengthening connections and restoring, reestablishing and setting out a fresh and right understanding of covenant again. And it will change your service. It will change your heart. Your deeds will match your words. The reaffirming, reestablishing and renewal of covenant will make my people sturdy, dependable. It will make people not only sayers of the word but doers. It will make people’s yes mean yes and no mean no. I Am bringing a great wave of covenant reformation, restoration, reaffirmation and reestablishment, and it will change the world. It will make my people sturdy, dependable, true and strong in a way the world has never seen you before. You will be a people I can trust. And just you watch the miracles and the supernatural that flow from this place — from the reality of reestablished covenant.
“Out of generosity they even sold their assets to distribute the proceeds to those who were in need among them. Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion. They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility. They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life.”
Acts 2:45-47 TPT
My miracles, My supernatural move will move, will flow from the hands and mouths and persons of My people who are solidly, purely, honestly, truly in rock solid covenant with Me and each other. The Acts of the apostles flowed from covenant. It flowed from rock solid covenantal assurance in Me and trust and unity with each other. I Am creating a rock solid people this world has not known, and from their hands and mouths and beings, from their presence great miracles will flow.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, I submit my heart and my life to You. Give me a fresh and correct understanding of covenant. Help me to be a person of my word — to you, to my family, to the body of believers and to the world who does not yet know you. I want to be rock solid in you, and I want to be one who people see as rock solid and trustworthy in every way.
- Declare, the Lord is moving to restore, reestablish and reaffirm covenant with His people and amongst His people. The Lord is changing the priestly service of His people to align with true covenant.
- Decree, I live in the light of the Lord my God. I Am hidden in Christ Jesus and covenanted to Him by His blood. I Am not one who shrinks back and is destroyed. I Am among those who have faith and experience true life. I Am one whom the Lord can trust and whom my family, the body of believers and all who know me can trust. The Lord is reestablishing me, rebuilding me and making me rock solid in His eyes and in the eyes of all who know me.
