Today’s Reading:
Jeremiah 12
10 “Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard,
Jeremiah 12:10-11
They have trampled down My field;
They have made My pleasant field
A desolate wilderness.
11 “It has been made a desolation,
Desolate, it mourns before Me;
The whole land has been made desolate,
Because no man lays it to heart.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Beauty, excellence, perfect execution. I have made you to build, to create, to work from inspiration and for your work to inspire others. Anarchy and chaos have dominated the scene, have torn down the meaning of art, have belittled and demeaned the hearts and eyes and the works brought forth by artists, by creators, by inventors, by artisans.
14 Thus says the Lord concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, “Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them. 15 And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land.
Jeremiah 12:14-15
Anarchy, chaos and evil has dominated and denigrated, has degraded the people so that they look horizontally for inspiration, they look inward for inspiration, yet they have no relationship with Me, no connection to the Creator of All, to the All Creative One. They look to evil for inspiration and bear and produce evil. Demons are in their ears and even attached to their souls and bring forth disgusting evil. Others who dominate the scene, those called authorities, celebrate this continuation and this recycled vile reflection of evil as art. This is not art. This is one whose talent has been hijacked to represent evil. This is one whose imagination has found limitations because it is not living in purity, is not connected to the Creator, is not being resourced from Heaven.
16 Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, ‘As the Lord lives,’ even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people.
Jeremiah 12:16
I Am cutting the strings that have kept them bound and imprisoned by the forces aligned with and producing chaos, anarchy and evil. I Am setting them free, and they will see in vibrant color again. They will have hearts and minds that are a clean slate and a pure palette for creating again. They will burn with a holy fire, and those who sing will sing as ones filled with the roaring white fire of Me. Holy Spirit fire is coming for the artists, and it will burn the ties and the cords and the strings that have held them captive, that have bound them to darkness, evil and chaos, that have shackled them to drugs, pleasure and degeneracy.
Holy Spirit fire is roaring, and We have our heart and eyes and desire set firmly on the artists, the creators, the inventors, the musicians, the writers. We have our sights set on the ones who influence culture at the most basic and impactful levels — through the heart and soul, eyes and mind. I Am coming as a roaring fire for the artists, and they will be set free.
How to Respond
- Find a way to worship the Lord using your creativity today.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You for having Your heart and desire set on the artists, creators, inventors, artisans, musicians and writers. Thank You for Your roaring fire and Your plan to set them free. Come Holy Spirit, come. If there is a part you would have me play as You move on these creative ones, show me what to do. I will do it Lord. Thank You for moving to change the very foundations of our culture through the artists.
- Declare, the Lord is freeing the artists and creatives from the ties and strings that have kept them bound and operating in partnership and under the direct influence of anarchy, chaos and evil. The Lord is setting them free, wiping the slates and the palettes of their heart and mind clean and aligning them with His heart and with the creative resources and inspiration of Heaven.
- Decree, I will rejoice in the freeing and the transformation of the artists and creatives. I will support the work of those who operate in partnership with the Lord and pull on the resources of Heaven. I will see culture transformed into a place that reflects the beauty and ideas, the excellence and inspiration of the Lord our God.
