Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 51
“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness,
Isaiah 51:1-3
you who seek the Lord:
look to the rock from which you were hewn,
and to the quarry from which you were dug.
2 Look to Abraham your father
and to Sarah who bore you;
for he was but one when I called him,
that I might bless him and multiply him.
3 For the Lord comforts Zion;
he comforts all her waste places
and makes her wilderness like Eden,
her desert like the garden of the Lord;
joy and gladness will be found in her,
thanksgiving and the voice of song.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
It’s celebration time. You have been waiting and preparing and stocking up for the celebrations. Now is the time to unpack those decorations and prepare the party. Victory is here. Victory is here, and victory carries truth in her wake. As victory advances, so does truth. And they will all meet in the public square for a truth telling.
Truth will rip the veil of deceit, and truth will bring freedom. When the veil of deceit is torn, the weight and heaviness, the oppression of the lies also lifts, and in rushes freedom — freedom to think, freedom to see with unobstructed vision, freedom to make new choices and operate differently. The whole world opens up as a great wide spectrum of endless possibilities once the veil of deceit is torn and freedom rushes in.
11 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return
Isaiah 51:11
and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
The drumbeat of freedom is steady and persistent. Freedom is ready for her moment and ready to be unleashed. Freedom is ready to be released from the shackles and the cell that have held her, and she is ready to run, leap, dance, celebrate and touch the people with glory, with favor and with possibility. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. In Me, true freedom breaks the yoke of impossibility. Nothing is impossible for Me.
My Presence and My freedom unlock the the door that makes all things possible. What was once believed to be impossible will be found to be a lie. It was possible, and it IS possible with the help of Your Lord, God Almighty. I Am breaking the chains of impossibility, and I Am causing freedom and great, wide unending possibility to run together and touch the people of the world. Impossibility is broken. Freedom is here. The Spirit of the Lord is here. Victory is here. Truth is here. It’s going to be a great day.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord with gladness. Stir up your affection for Him.
- Pray, Lord Jesus, thank You for Your victory. Thank You for bringing truth to the public square. Thank You for tearing the veil of deceit and for releasing freedom and possibility. You alone are good. Thank You for loving us, and for changing the world before our eyes.
- Declare, The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. Victory, truth, freedom and possibility are all here because of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord our God.
- Decree, I will celebrate a great victory with the faithful and the Lord’s anointed ones. I will see the tearing and destruction of the veil of deceit that has been covering the eyes of so many. I will experience freedom alongside the many — the people of the world — and I will walk in a new day of endless possibility, where the impossible no longer exists.
