25 With the kind You show Yourself kind;
Psalm 18:25-27
With the blameless You show Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You show Yourself pure,
And with the crooked You show Yourself astute.
27 For You save an afflicted people,
But haughty eyes You abase.
The Lord says,
The cheese has been set in the traps, and the big rats will not be able to resist it. Though they can sense the walls closing in around them, they cannot fathom being caught. They cannot fathom consequence. Raised up as victims and bullies, they mowed down anyone or anything in the path of desire before them. Those who towered above them in honor and truth, they chewed at and chopped at, yet ultimately they were forced to scurry around those obstacles of towering strength, honor, truth and integrity.
46 The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock;
Psalm 18:46-49
And exalted be the God of my salvation,
47 The God who executes vengeance for me,
And subdues peoples under me.
48 He delivers me from my enemies;
Surely You lift me above those who rise up against me;
You rescue me from the violent man.
49 Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O Lord,
And I will sing praises to Your name.
These vicious and toxic rats have caught the scent of what they desire once more. But following their selfish ambition and their belly will lead them into the trap of their ultimate undoing and demise. The traps are baited and set. All that is left is to wait and watch, as their predictable habits and insatiable greed lead them unerringly to the traps set for their judgement. This is a grave thing, but it is necessary. This is the harvest they have sown.
25 “Now this is the inscription that was written out: ‘MENĒ, MENĒ, TEKĒL, UPHARSIN.’ 26 This is the interpretation of the message: ‘MENĒ’—God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.27 ‘TEKĒL’—you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient. 28 ‘PERĒS’—your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.”
Daniel 5:25-28
Watch as those traps snap in rapid succession. The cheese drew them every time. The traps will expose these filthy diseased rats for what they truly are, and the world will be disgusted by them. Those reputations will be marred forever. Their memory will be a byword and a warning to future generations. They will be remembered as scum, evil and filth. They will not get the final word.
Their day for mocking, derision and embarrassment untold is coming. They will hold the reigns of power and influence no longer. It is serious. The time has come to show the world what they have been funding. The writing for these filthy rats is on the wall now. Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. They have been weighed in the balances and found wanting.
8 Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Psalm 62:8-12
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9 Men of low degree are only vanity and men of rank are a lie;
In the balances they go up;
They are together lighter than breath.
10 Do not trust in oppression
And do not vainly hope in robbery;
If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.
11 Once God has spoken;
Twice I have heard this:
That power belongs to God;
12 And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord,
For You recompense a man according to his work.
I Am turning tables. I Am initiating reversals. I Am setting things in their proper place. This is a time of upheaval. This is a time of the status quo being upset and the house of cards falling down. Nothing is what it seems. Truth will come marching like a drum major leading a parade. The truth will direct the horns. The truth will direct the horns to herald a sound and a song that cannot be denied. The truth is directing the players, and their instruments are tuned to her perfect pitch. They will rise up, march forth and play a song directed by truth that will peel back the layers of the facade and reveal the true reality. The truth is fearlessly directing these players, and they will play on cue. The truth will continue marching on, until the job is done.
How to Respond
- Rejoice. Worship the Lord with songs of thanksgiving and ones that recount His faithfulness.
- Pray, Lord, may those who have chosen the side of evil humble themselves and repent. Touch their hearts if they can still be reached.
- Declare, the Lord is moving in His time of harvest, judgement and justice. Those who have been stealing, oppressing, abusing and lying to the people will be caught, exposed and brought to justice.
- Decree, the Lord’s move of justice is for the freedom of the people. He will overturn, overthrow, and reverse all that was built on a false foundation. He will have the final word.
