Today’s Readings:
2 Corinthians 3
Galatians 5

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

The Lord says,
A fresh breeze is blowing in. A fresh breeze is blowing in, as if from the ocean, and it is lightly sprinkling life with it’s sticky salt and adding flavor. This breeze is coming in, and it is stirring things up. It is arousing new ideas, new thoughts, new recognition, new desires. The breeze is caused by the stirring and movement of My Spirit. It’s dropping in new perspectives, new kinds of thoughts, new interests and new passions. It is the stirring of My Spirit.

5 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

I Am moving, nudging, flooding in and disrupting the status quo. I Am disrupting the ho hum, grind out another day existence of so many. I Am disrupting patterns, habits, ways of doing things and ways of thinking. I Am disrupting ways of seeing things and ways of responding. My stirring is dropping in new ideas, new perspectives, new choices, habits and even ways of being. It is shifting mindsets, perspectives and attitudes. From afar this stirring, these changes and adjustments look small, but to the person, these can feel like very big shifts — not necessarily difficult shifts, but unfamiliar ones. It’s like stretching out muscles that have only been used in one way. You stretch them out to bring healing and flexibility, to bring agility where stiffness and one-directional operating only happened before.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-25

I Am stirring, shifting, stretching and moving. I Am causing adjustments that will change the courses of people’s lives. From the outside, they look minor, but these changes of just a few degrees will propel their destinies in a completely new direction. As a ship captain that course corrects and changes the ship’s position by just a few degrees causes it’s destination to be vastly changed, so are these adjustments and shifts that I Am stirring going to change destinies. Be flexible. Be pliable. Be open to change and new ways of thinking and operating. Position yourself for adjustments, because I Am repositioning you for destiny.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord and lean into Him.
  • Remain flexible, moveable, humble and open in this time of the Lord’s stirring and adjustments.
  • Pray, Lord, help me to maintain an open mind, heart and posture for the adjustments You are bringing. Help me to live in easy submission to Your voice, hands and will. Help me to delight in the changes You bring and embrace them as my new ways.
  • Declare, the Spirit of the Lord is stirring, moving and bringing adjustments that are changing destinies.
  • Decree,
I submit my life to the Lord for change, adjustments, shifts and new ways of operating.
I desire to be one who lives in great flexibility and submission to the Lord.
I will embrace and celebrate the changes required of me, because they are for my future.
