Today’s Readings:
Psalm 125-126
125 Those who trust in the Lord
Psalm 125:1-3
Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous,
So that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong.
The Lord says,
Change is incoming — like a tidal wave, like a tsunami wave, like a hurricane, like a storm the size and intensity of which you have never seen. It is bringing brute force change. My change is incoming. My change is advancing. My change will soon make landfall on your shores. For those who are hidden in Me, for those who are tucked inside of My wings, there is nothing to fear. You are safe and secure, protected and shielded from the elements; though you will share in the aftermath, the cleanup and the rebuilding.
5 But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways,
Psalm 125:5
The Lord will lead them away with the doers of iniquity.
Peace be upon Israel.
The storm of My change is surging, and it will engulf everything and everyone in its path. It will touch all that is in its path. For My storm, running underground to safety, running into dark caves to safety will not work. My storm is coming to accomplish the purpose for which I have sent it — to bring a mighty cleansing and change.
Perverts holding on to power will not be able to withstand the force of My winds of change. Evil ones clinging to power will not be able to withstand the elements of My change. Wicked ones holding on to power will be stripped bare and exposed by the force of My stormy winds of change. They will be left standing there like drenched shaved naked cats — a disgusting sight to behold, reviling to the eyes and to the spirit. They will be seen for the weak, filthy, fangless mongrels that they are, and they will be taken away in public shame and disgrace, having bared all to the world. They will be escorted from the scene and put in cages fit for their crimes; and the land will be cleansed. The scene will be purified, the air will be lighter, and the storm will be a memory.
126 When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion,
Psalm 126:1-3
We were like those who dream.
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter
And our tongue with joyful shouting;
Then they said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us;
We are glad.
At this moment, truth is surging, and truth is swelling in the storm. Truth will come in like a great cleansing agent, and she will remove the filth, grime and despicable lies from the scene. My lovers will be like weather tested veteran sailors who can ride this storm out with grit and with confidence that their captain will see them through. I will see you through, and I will deposit you safely on a purified land. The cleanup and the aftermath will be monumental. But all that was built on a solid foundation, all that was built on Me, your rock and firm foundation, will remain standing. All else will crumble. This is for your good, for your benefit and for the sake of freedom. The storm has a purpose. Remember that. The storm is not merely coming in to expose and to destroy. The storm is setting My people free.
How to Respond
- Draw near to the Lord and put your trust in Him.
- Spend time in worship — thanking the Lord for His goodness, His protection, His provision and His perfect plan.
- Pray, Lord Jesus, come. Have Your way. Do what You need to do to cleanse us, to cleanse this land and to set us free. Give us wisdom for how to live well in these days of stormy change. Do Your work quickly Lord. Thank You that storms are short lived.
- Declare, the Lord is coming in power to bring cleansing. change, exposure, justice and freedom to the land. All that is not built on Him as the firm foundation will not survive the storm.
- Decree, I will hide myself in the Lord, My Creator, Father, Redeemer and Savior. I will not give in to fear. I will stand and partner with Him as He blasts His winds of change.
