Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 40-41
Psalm 82-83

10 Behold, the Lord God will come with might,
With His arm ruling for Him.
Behold, His reward is with Him

Isaiah 40:10

The Lord says,
Hope is rising. Courage is rising. A certainty and expectation of change is rising. Expectation of good is rising. Expectation of justice is rising. An expectation of hidden traps snapping shut on the hunters who set them is rising. Spiritual awareness is rising. Heavy sleepy eyelids are rising. So is the sun rising on the day of change, on the day of rapid and successive, incontrovertible change.

82 God takes His stand in His own congregation;
He judges in the midst of the rulers.

Psalm 82:1

Yes indeed, the sun has risen on the day of change. There’s no turning back. There’s no getting back to the former day or the former place. I have moved the day forward, and watch as I change the very ground beneath your feet and the world around you as you know it. The sun has risen on the day of change. And when the mighty powerful event happens, you will say like the men on the road to Emmaus, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us? Didn’t we have a great sense of expectation that the Lord was about to move and change everything?” You did My dears. You did.

Remember the anticipation, the expectation and the wonder you have now at what My move could possibly be, when it could possibly be, how it might possibly transpire. Remember this sense in your heart, your spirit and even your bones. The sun has risen on the day of change. There’s no turning back.

11 “Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored;
Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.
12 “You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them,
Those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent.

Isaiah 41:11-12

We are marching steadily forward to change, to justice, to truth, to purity, to righteous rule. We are marching to freedom that no man’s hand can grasp away from you. This day of change is the day I have made. Rejoice and be glad in it. Watch for the gifts I bring with this day of change. Watch the size of the change. Epic, tremendous, truly unprecedented and monumental will be the change. It will sit proudly and unable to be moved. Like a mountain that has suddenly risen from flat ground, so will this change arise — unpredicted, unexpected, undeniable.

18 “I will open rivers on the bare heights
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water
And the dry land fountains of water.
19 “I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia and the myrtle and the olive tree;
I will place the juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress,
20 That they may see and recognize,
And consider and gain insight as well,
That the hand of the Lord has done this,
And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 41:18-20

These are days of change, and this is the day of change. Set your eyes on the horizon in expectation. Change has indeed been released. Change has left the station. Change is barreling forward to a theater near you.

How to Respond

  • Worship. Keep the Lord first in your heart, mind and home.
  • Keep your life and influences pure before Him.
  • Do not withhold forgiveness from anyone for any reason.
  • Declare, the Lord has brought us to the day of change. He will shake everything that can be shaken, and He is turning all things around to glorify His Name and to bring freedom to the people.
  • Decree, those with the enemy will be caught in traps of their own making. The Lord is bringing rapid and irreversible change. He is changing power structures, financial systems, governmental structures and many kinds of systems. He will not be thwarted or delayed. His change will stand.
  • Pray, thank You Lord, for Jesus, for Good Friday and for the suffering that Jesus endured in the Holy Week to make salvation and reconciliation with You possible. We can’t fathom the pain, the suffering and the tremendous strain that the weight of our sins and sickness put on Him. We honor and bless You Jesus for making a way where there was no way. You alone are good. You alone are worthy, and to you alone be all the worship, honor and praise. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
