Today’s Reading:
Matthew 9
Matthew 12
Ephesians 2
When he saw the vast crowds of people, Jesus’ heart was deeply moved with compassion, because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd. He turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in. As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out many more reapers to harvest his grain!”
Matthew 9:36-38 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I’m spreading seeds of love in the fields that will bring the harvest. These fields don’t look like much now. They don’t look like they will produce. They look overgrown and some even look manicured. They do not appear to be that which will bring a fruitful harvest. But My seeds of love are being spread generously, richly, and they are being well accepted by the soil of hearts. This is a generational blessing. The move that I Am undertaking now is one that launches a generational blessing that cannot be overstated.
For the Messiah has come to preach this sweet message of peace to you, the ones who were distant, and to those who are near. And now, because we are united to Christ, we both have equal and direct access in the realm of the Holy Spirit to come before the Father! So, you are not foreigners or guests, but rather you are the children of the city of the holy ones, with all the rights as family members of the household of God. You are rising like the perfectly fitted stones of the temple; and your lives have been built up together upon the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, and best of all, you are connected to the Head Cornerstone of the building, the Anointed One, Jesus Christ himself!
Ephesians 2:17-20 TPT
Where people have been brash, individualistic and attention seeking, their hearts will turn to humility, confidence and extraordinary tenderness toward Me and toward the people. Where extreme acceptance of perversion and degeneracy has been demanded and bowed to — hearts of compassion will rise up to minister in those places. And many will leave those seemingly separated, far-off places. They seem far and separated from the harvest field, even the unlikely harvest field, but they are only steps away. I will wash them too. I will welcome them too. I will receive them in My family too. This is the harvest of the many. This is the harvest that religion can’t contain or explain or even understand. But souls and men’s hearts have a direct line to Heaven, have a direct line of connection and understanding of the great love of God.
Take a careful look at my servant, my chosen one. I love him dearly and I find all my delight in him. I will breathe my Spirit upon him and he will decree justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or raise his voice in public. He won’t brush aside the bruised and broken. He will be gentle with the weak and feeble, until his victory releases justice. And the fame of his name will birth hope among the people.
Matthew 12:18-21 TPT
This is not a far-off distant thing. This is a now reality. Seeds are being poured generously into the harvest fields now. And unlikely harvests will emerge in your own back yard. And I will even call on you to pick up the broken pieces of the ones who have wandered, who have separated themselves to degeneracy and perversion only to find themselves left wanting. I will call you to pick up their broken pieces and shine the pure, unadulterated light of My love in their lives, to even hold them upright as I wash them clean. This is a team sport. I’m calling you into the harvest fields — out to the unlikely harvest fields and into the adjacent places where it seems no possible fruit can be born, but by My Spirit. Even these ones who seem to have no root system, no ability to receive will be miraculously, by your obedience, be shown the light and washed clean by My Word and the blood of the Lamb. This is a time of difference. And this is a different harvest than the world has ever known. Get your baskets ready. Those seeds are showing the early signs of flowering blossoms even now. Soon the springtime of harvest will be upon us.
How to Respond
- Love the Lord your God, and love the people He puts in your life.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for pouring out seeds of Your love in the harvest fields, even the unlikely ones and even those places that seem unable to bear any fruit. Nothing is impossible for You. You see and know every heart and every person. Help me to be a faithful harvester — full of love and hospitality for those You send me to serve.
- Declare, As the crowds emerged from the village, Jesus said to his disciples, “Why would you say, ‘The harvest is another four months away’? Look at all the people coming—now is harvest time! Their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—ready for a harvest. Everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. Both those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the spiritual harvest will celebrate together with great joy! — John 4:35-36 TPT
- Decree, I will not cling to my to-do list. I will make myself available to the Lord to minister to those He is bringing into His family. I will not count anyone out — no matter how far gone they seem. The Lord’s will is that none should perish, but all should have everlasting life.
