42 As the deer pants for the water brooks,
Psalm 42:1-2
So my soul pants for You, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God?
7 Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;
Psalm 42:7-8
All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.
8 The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life.
Deep Calls to Deep
The Lord says,
Deep calls to deep. Great knowledge, wisdom and understanding seeks yet more. Ones who truly know Me, who love Me, who have an intimate deep personal relationship with Me seek more. They pursue more. They desire more. Where is your desire on the desire meter? Is your desire for Me low? Stir up your affection for Me. Remind yourself of My faithfulness. Carve out special time to sit with Me, to be with Me.
2 I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. 3 In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Colossians 2:2-3
Watch Me light up the pages of scripture for you. Watch Me speak into your life again. Stir up your desire. Stir up your love. Fan the flame of passion for your first love again. Put aside the distractions and set your face and your eyes on Me. Get yourself to that place where deep calls to deep.
6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7
The deep is where the big fish are. As the depth you have found cries out for yet more, watch as I bring to you greater revelation of who I Am. Watch as I give you eyes to see things that were previously invisible to you. Watch as I share the secrets of My heart. Watch as I entrust you with a greater measure of wisdom and greater insights into what I Am doing in the world.
138 I will give You thanks with all my heart;
Psalm 138:1-3
I will sing praises to You before the gods.
2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.
3 On the day I called, You answered me;
You made me bold with strength in my soul.
Go deep and call out for more. Make your pursuit of Me, My ways, My character, My instruction, My revelation be what consumes you. Allow it yet to even define you. Watch the beautiful things I do in your life, in your heart and in your mind — on the canvas of all that is deep within you. Get back to the deep if you have left that place. Cry out for the deep, because you can never exhaust the wells of the knowledge of Me, the beauty of Me, My ways and My heart.
3 Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble.
Isaiah 35:3-4
4 Say to those with anxious heart,
“Take courage, fear not.
Behold, your God will come with vengeance;
The recompense of God will come,
But He will save you.”
Guardians of Freedom
The Lord says,
I’m stirring up anticipation of a celebration. The people of the world will regain freedom. They will wrestle it from the hands of tyrants, dictators and evil minded people. They will wrestle it from them and grasp freedom in their strong and upraised right hand. They will hold onto her now for dear life. They will hold onto her with all of their might. They will rise, and they will fight should anyone approach freedom. Should anyone dare to lay a hand on her, they will fight like relentless vicious warriors.
8 A highway will be there, a roadway,
Isaiah 35:8-10
And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for him who walks that way,
And fools will not wander on it.
9 No lion will be there,
Nor will any vicious beast go up on it;
These will not be found there.
But the redeemed will walk there,
10 And the ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
With everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will find gladness and joy,
And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Cowards no more. Weak and lame no more. Silent no more. Sheep no more. The people will have a firm grasp on freedom, and they will not allow her to be stolen or even approached or touched by another slithering snake with a smooth tongue and lying eyes. They will not stand for it. They will not tolerate it. They will not allow it.
The ones who have wrestled for freedom and regained it will walk in their ways for all of their days as warriors and guardians of freedom. They will train their children up from infancy to love the Lord, the flag, honor and freedom. These are very different days we are soon to celebrate. They will be the glorious days after freedom is held once again and in some places for the very first time — BY THE PEOPLE.
How to Respond
- Determine to seek the Lord and the things of Him with the passion of an eager student and the unwavering attention of a starry eyed lover.
- Spend time in the Presence of the Lord, in His Word and in worship.
- Choose to put other things aside to give more time to pursuit of the Lord and the deep things of the Spirit.
- Declare, as I cry out for more of the Lord, He responds with His Presence, love and revelation.
- Decree, the Lord is an unending well of life, love, revelation and wisdom. As I pursue Him, He opens His well of deep things to me and opens My understanding to receive them.
- Decree, the Lord is moving and helping the people to take back freedom. He has purposed to do it, and He will not be thwarted.
- Pray, Lord thank You for Your amazing love. Thank You that You love us so much, that You are moving to restore freedom to all the people of the Earth. Only You can do that. Show us our part. Send warring angels and make them successful in all of their tasks to up-end the work of tyrants and those aligned with evil. Bring victory, freedom and days of great celebration to the people – just like You said You would.
