Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 1-2
21 How the faithful city has become a harlot,
Isaiah 1:21-25
She who was full of justice!
Righteousness once lodged in her,
But now murderers.
22 Your silver has become dross,
Your drink diluted with water.
23 Your rulers are rebels
And companions of thieves;
Everyone loves a bribe
And chases after rewards.
They do not defend the orphan,
Nor does the widow’s plea come before them.
24 Therefore the Lord God of hosts,
The Mighty One of Israel, declares,
“Ah, I will be relieved of My adversaries
And avenge Myself on My foes.
25 “I will also turn My hand against you,
And will smelt away your dross as with lye
And will remove all your alloy.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for change. My grace is sufficient for completely new constructs, completely new landscapes, completely new prospects and completely new days. My grace for change is here, and change will be of such great magnitude that it will feel like something extraordinary, something massive has been dropped on the Earth from very great heights. Change will be so undeniable, it will be like an elephant falling from the sky and hitting every home and life. It simply cannot be denied. It simply cannot be explained any other way than the Lord My God has done it.
26 “Then I will restore your judges as at the first,
Isaiah 1:26-28
And your counselors as at the beginning;
After that you will be called the city of righteousness,
A faithful city.”
27 Zion will be redeemed with justice
And her repentant ones with righteousness.
28 But transgressors and sinners will be crushed together,
And those who forsake the Lord will come to an end.
Massive, powerful inescapable change is incoming. It will drop, and it will shake the whole Earth. It will leave nothing untouched, unaffected. It will leave nothing as it was. The whole Earth will respond to the shaking. The shaking will be the final birth pangs that lead to a brand new day. This is the birthing of a new era. This is the birthing of wholesale change. What is will not be, and life as you know it will be changed forever. We are now reaching the death of this age, and we are crossing the threshold into a new day. If you see death all around you, it is evidence of the decay of this age. This age must give way to a new day. This age must die, so that the new era can have the day. The sun must leave this age and pass on to the new one, so this age will be very dark in its final days and moments. It is not because this is the end. It is because this is the death, and the sun has moved on to launch a new day, to welcome the new era, to shine the light for the new way.
This era will grow very dark, and it will be filled with decay as it already is and more so until the shaking, until the massive, massive extraordinary, supernatural aerial drop of change hits the Earth and causes this incredible, unparalleled, undeniable shaking.
2 The word which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.2 Now it will come about that
Isaiah 2:1-5
In the last days
The mountain of the house of the Lord
Will be established as the chief of the mountains,
And will be raised above the hills;
And all the nations will stream to it.
3 And many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For the law will go forth from Zion
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.
5 Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
When the shaking subsides, when the door to the new day is breached, we will stand suddenly, unexpectedly at the doorway of destiny that leads to the new day. Nothing that remains in the current age, the dying age can remain. The new era is for the new day. Only life can be found here. Only light can be found here. Only new and glorious growth, prosperity and abundance can be found here. Some will say this is back to Eden. It is in fact the dawning of a new era, a new day.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, prepare my heart and mind for the shaking. Help me to be solidly, immovably anchored in You. You have said that Yours is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. I am a citizen of Your Kingdom Lord, and I am so thankful for the refuge that Your unshakable Kingdom provides — particularly in this coming time of unprecedented shaking. Show me where to stand and what my role is for this pivotal time in history.
- Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. The Lord will not be mocked. The Lord never lies, never fails and never loses. My God is the God of victory, and He reigns victoriously over all the nations.
- Decree, the Lord is the One who changes times and epochs. He removes kings and He establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He know what is in the darkness and the light dwells with Him. I will dwell with the Lord in the light of His new era and His new day. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
