Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Do you hear the drumbeat of My favor? The drumbeat of My love? It is resounding with a good cadence. It is marching steadily toward you. You will hear the drumbeat of My favor, the intimate drumbeat of My love in your heart, in your life. This is not a time to say, “I have been abandoned.” This is not a time to say, “the Lord has forgotten me.” It’s not a time to say, “I’m all alone, and I can’t see the way forward.” This is a time to rejoice, to cheer with great shouts, to sing songs of My love and My victory, of My faithfulness. Because the drumbeat of My favor and the drumbeat of My love has come to you.
Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up the former devastations; And they will repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations. Strangers will stand and pasture your flocks, And foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers. But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, And in their riches you will boast.

It will look like others serving you in friendship, in kinship and in honor. It will look like even strangers bringing logs to burn on the fire of the passion and the vision I have given you, that I have placed in your heart. These are not days to say, “I am lonely and alone, forgotten and by myself.” These are days to shout with a shout of victory, because your God has come through with more than you could have ever anticipated, dreamed, imagined or asked. I Am here. The drumbeat of My favor and the drumbeat of My love are steady and true in your life. They are not fleeting. The gifts you see poured out, the favor, connections, opportunities and great grace you see poured out is not a momentary thing. It’s not a fluke. It’s not luck. It’s Me, and My favor and My love along with My grace are encamping around you. We have no intention of leaving you or departing from this place.
Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs. For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; And I will faithfully give them their recompense And make an everlasting covenant with them.

I have seen your passion for Me. I have heard the cries of deep longing. I Am bringing help. I Am bringing outlandish, incredible favor. I’m bringing provision, and you will feel and know that it is because of My outsized, oversized, outrageously unmatchable love. Come to the well of My favor. I have refreshing for you in the form of great favor. This isn’t a time for sideline sitting or complacency. Walk toward the drumbeat of My favor, and you will find refreshing, outrageous favor, provision and rest there. I love you My child. This is the day of the Lord’s favor.
How to Respond
- Don’t grow weary in well doing. Keep walking in the direction the Lord has you moving. His favor will meet you along the way.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for seeing my deep spiritual need, my longing for You, my heart’s cries and my physical needs as well. Bring Your favor and lavish Your love on me as You have said. I need to see Your provision, feel Your grace and be wrapped up in Your Presence Lord.
- Declare, I will see , experience and receive the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
- Decree, the Lord’s favor, love, grace and Presence are my portion. I will not give up. I will not back down. I will move steadily forward in all that He has called me to do. And His great favor and outlandish love will meet me as I go.
