Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 60
Matthew 5
Colossians 1

60 Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
4
“Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
5 Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

Isaiah 60:1-5

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Shine. The light that I have placed inside you, Holy Spirit, makes you irresistible. It draws people who love light or desire light toward you. The brightness of your light is increasing in intensity and measure. You are My sons and daughters of light. You are drawing men and women to Me just by the light of Holy Spirit that emits from your body, soul and spirit. You are incandescent and a wonderful glorious reflection of Me. Be encouraged. You are a city on a hill. You are the light of the world.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16

Your radiant beauty, your purity, your willingness and humility turns up the brightness of your light and the warmth that you radiate. It’s to be a light in the darkness — in the dark times, in the dark places — for the ones whose souls have been shrouded in darkness — whether by choice or circumstance. Shine brilliantly. Shine fearlessly. Illuminate the darkness, for in you is the spirit of the living God. In you is the hope of glory.

26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:26-27 NKJ

All hearts desire and long for a touch of glory. And this is a time of great drawing. This is a time of great darkness, so this is a time when your light can be clearly seen. I have many lights spotting the dark landscape. Shine brightly where I have you, and see who I cause to be drawn in by your light. It’s My delight to bring joy, benefits and delight from multiple angles of every meeting, every connection, every circumstance. I Am the God of multiplicative blessing. I Am the God of divine connections and of generous overflowing blessing and delight. Watch how I use your light to change the lives of others but also how those connections will change your life too. I Am drawing people to you with gifts, knowledge, wisdom understanding that you need for these days and times. Your light is not just for them. I have also given it as as gift for you.

Let your light shine and watch who is drawn. Watch the sparks that fly. Watch the lives that are changed. Watched the new ventures and partnerships that are created. These are very fun days of connections that are born of light.

How to Respond

  • Spend time with the Lord in the secret, quiet place. This dials up the light inside you.
  • Pray, Lord, I desire to be one who is a bright and unhidden reflection of Christ and of Your glory. I submit to Your will and Your ways. Use me as a light that draws men and women and children to Your heart and Your Kingdom.
  • Declare, in Christ, we are the light of the world. We are reflections of His love, His power and His glory. We are beacons of hope that point people to Him. We are light in a dark time and place.
  • Decree, I will shine brightly in the darkness. I refuse to be hidden, to be quiet or to be dimmed. I will shine with the light of the glory of My Savior and Redeemer. I will be one to whom God’s multiplicative blessings of divine connections come as part of my obedience and delight in shining.
