Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 45
Isaiah 58-59
14 Justice is turned back,
Isaiah 59:14-15
and righteousness stands far away;
for truth has stumbled in the public squares,
and uprightness cannot enter.
15 Truth is lacking,
and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.
The Lord saw it, and it displeased him
that there was no justice.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Truth. I desire truth in the innermost parts. Truth is accelerating. Truth is gaining speed and momentum like a barreling freight train. Truth is growing impatient, and she wants to be set free. She wants to be unleashed. She wants to fly high above her captors. Truth is wiggling and fidgeting, and their restraints will not be sufficient to contain her any longer.
6 “Is not this the fast that I choose:
Isaiah 58:6
to loose the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to break every yoke?
Being a person of truth in the innermost parts is critical in this hour. I Am causing truth to rise, and I Am breaking off all her restraints. She will barrel forward like a mighty freight train loaded down. She will deliver her message, and she will be heard. Truth will dance a victory dance in the public square. She will taunt her enemies, and she will taunt the liars. Truth is accelerating. Truth is rising, and she will have her day. She has been suppressed, constrained and locked away. But I Am breaking the bonds that have held her. I Am opening the doors that have been closed to shut her in, and I Am causing a powerful high speed release that will barrel straight forward to Washington.
2 “I will go before you
Isaiah 45:2-3
and level the exalted places,
I will break in pieces the doors of bronze
and cut through the bars of iron,
3 I will give you the treasures of darkness
and the hoards in secret places,
that you may know that it is I, the Lord,
the God of Israel, who call you by your name.
Truth is waking. Truth will no longer be constrained. She is impatient to reemerge into the daylight, into the spotlight, onto center stage. Truth is being released, and she will pack a powerful, explosive punch when she reaches her destination. Watch for her release. Watch for her taunting victory dance.
How to Respond
- Purify yourself before the Lord. Ensure that your life is marked by truth.
- Pray, Lord, thank You that You are the way, the truth and the life. Thank You for not allowing lies to reign any longer. Break the back of the lies that are oppressing the people, and release truth into America again.
- Declare, the Lord is releasing truth and truth will make a powerful, undeniable mark when she breaks free from all that has been constraining her. Truth will do a victory dance in front of her enemies.
- Decree, I will stand on the side of truth, and I will not be moved.
